Wonder when that trip to Virginia is. Their website only lists opponents with dates to be announced later. It been a long time since I saw great Danes at Virginia. Ncaa tournament game. Stuck around the next day and watched Virginia's baseball team(vs Miami) the 3rd baseball was Ryan Zimmerman who had a long career with Washington nationals.

Even tough it hasn't gotten really cold yet, I am always ready for baseball. Some schedules have been released for 2024. Tennessee volunteers. They host great Danes February 23 to February 25. Purdue boilermakers. They host Great Danes March 8 to 10.

Do we really need this utter nonsense on the board. I don't know if they will play or cancel the game. Besides what was already mentioned the minor league hockey game in Portland was canceled tomorrow. Hockey has plenty of time left in the season to reschedule and football wouldn't. But neither a decision to play or a decision to cancel would surprise me.

Really. I was told by one person the best seats are Courtside with the ref standing in front of you. 😀 I prefer to be up a few rows. Will see what is available. Last row of the "white" section or 2nd row of the purple would seem to be my preference

The expenses on top of the 150k would be paying would be significant. Airfare and 5 days lodging (Tuesday to Saturday presumably) also hawaii has sponsorship with Hawaiian air so hawaii costs for the flights are probably less than what i would pay. Same thing with lodging i would think. It also isn't my concern. I am enjoying my visit and looking forward to the game Saturday.

Nice to get home matches to start the season. Today's match should be a bigger test. From what I saw of the other teams, central Florida is the best of the 3 opponents followed by Navy and then Syracuse.

I don't think revenue is the only thing that matters. If so don't play any home non conference games if you can get all road games at 50K + per your numbers ?

They need more than you in the seats. For football, I prefer to be a little higher up and the price of the gold seats weren't worth it to me. When basketball prices are announced, I will make a judgment on best value for me. I certainly won't be sitting Courtside at the new arena. Best place probably would be top of the movable seats or lower part of the permanent seats behind the benches, but will see what costs are.

South Florida schedule released today. Danes at South Florida 12/22. That should be great for Florida Danes fans. For me, not sure if flights will be worth it that close to the holiday.
