  1. On the other hand their game notes say there's no TV…rather confusing. Their fan forum has no game chatter at all….not that we have a lot.
  2. I'm not seeing ASN on the game notes or on the CAA football site, just CAATV.
  3. I know this is the wrong thread/topic, but Oneonta's schedule has Saturday's game as an exhibition….
  4. AE feed was good for me, only a few hiccups. I liked what I saw. Peters is much better than last year. Cremo is growing. Hooley will get his groove back.
  5. How can UA win games if no one can shoot?????? Godawful shooting….long season ahead... That was pathetic….
  6. Do we have any players hat can hit a shot beyond layup range?? Jeeeesh!
  7. The only thing I can think of is that the coach has no with in the QBs being able to make inside throws. In the Saturday morning TV show, GG said that UNH has the best pass defense in the CAA and it's not even close. My main gripe with the defense is that our pass coverage is too far off the receivers. They get a free release and the DBs are seldom in position to contest the throws. It's never a good thing when your DBs are the leading tacklers. On IBH's fumble it looked like really got popped from the side right on the ball…so wasn't too upset on that one. Oh well, 2015 is almost over….next stop, signing day. Doesn't it seem like that just happened?
  8. Yup…Peyton Manning got pulled for somebody named Brock Osweiler???
  9. Excellent! Will Tye had one drop for the G-Men, but almost had a TD…stopped at the 1 foot line.
  10. I heard GG say Ngachie was injured at the beginning of the year. Last night the PA announcer announced that Ngachie made a tackle, but I did not see him on the field?? Hanks came out with a shoulder injury per the TU and Croskey ran well…good burst of speed to the corner on the TD and on the long screen pass. All of the snaps and holds I could see from the top deck were lousy….I'll have to watch the DVR of the game but it looked like the long snapper was skipping it or it was coming in low because the holder was scrambling. Toole was kicking them high and left every time and there was enough wind that it held them up. Sussman got creamed on a run late in the game and Crook came in and promptly almost had one picked off. One of the UA receivers was wide open on a deep crossing route and Crook sailed one about 5' over his head. He is not the answer. There was also a KO I could not understand after a UA score. It looked like a cross between an onside and a pooch and possibly a screwed up kick. In any event UNH got great field position. I also like the idea of developing good athletes (Mencer) at LB. Some of the message boards I looked at could not believe Pitt or another FBS school did not sign him, but there was a lot of talk that he basically played out of his natural best position much of the time and did not excel until senior year as a RB. They think GG got a steal. Time will tell. When Crook was warming up to replace Sussman he was tossing back and forth with Brunson…he's still a tall drink of water. Will, you better hit the holiday tables hard this year and live in the gym because the QB job will be wide open in 2016!
  11. He's red shirting this year best as I can tell. Apparently a kid with loads of talent and upside out of Altoona, Pa. The western PA message boards were very high on him. He was a QB, then a RB/DB in HS and they were projecting him as a D-1 OLB. 6-2, 215 with 4.48 speed….track and field guy too. I've been wondering what was up with him and that's the first I have heard that they were making him a linebacker. His HUDL video shows some serious speed.
  12. Well, it was a chilly night…light crowd…hot chocolate was good. Manzo-Lewis has a sure TD drop. Sussman looks better than Crook….much livelier arm. UA's pass defense was once again let them catch the ball and then attempt to tackle…87 for UNH was a beast. It was once again enlightening to see a top level QB slice up the D. Goldrich is way better than anyone we have. Kicking game was awful. Alston darn near broke another KO for a touchdown….got to the UNH 25…then Albany got nothing out of it. Toole was kicking wounded ducks into the wind. Enough to keep it interesting but with 7 minutes to go I bailed for the heat. Oh, Roger said on 980 that Eli Mencer is being converted to LB.
  13. That was fun. A 13 pt loss to UK at Rupp is a heck of an outing! Stire and Cremo both looked good. Stire is a banger.
  14. You must not be in Saratoga TWC…..their HD stations have been having trouble for 3 weeks…like I said THANKS TWC You $#@!&!$ leeches!!! Just called ….another outage…their techs are working on it…LEECHES! FINALLY showed up on ESPN…was not there before….. Oh….WSOC down 3-0 at the half.
  15. Well this sucks. Watch ESPN gets me nothing…not UK UA game listed….CH384 doesn't work…THANKS TWC!!!!!!!!! Penn St TV is not working!!!!!!! 2 games went to NO games………..
  16. 980 is also on iHeart Radio. Their signal is lousy some times so iHeart is good if you're on the go.
  17. Yeah, it was sleeting at some point and I seem to recall some hot chocolate too.
  18. So after showing signs of life in the last 2 games, it's time to don the long johns, ski cap and parka and watch the closer. I recall last year's Stony Brook was FREEZING at 7 pm.
  19. UA!!!!!!!!!!!! 2-1!!!!!!!!! America East Champions!!!!!!!! 1st TIME!!!!
  20. It astonishes me sometimes how the folks on the opposing blogs like to run down their opponents, as if it somehow makes them feel better about their own teams. I understand that UD was once a national power, but it's not like they had been running roughshod over UA the last two years. Last second FG 2 years ago and a last second FG last year after a BullSiena call on an on-side recovery. UA's got it's problems, but it was still good enough to stop their O and run throughout their D….their O and D with superior athletes and speed as some bloggers put it. Sounds like they're about to run their coach out of town.
