    Good comeback . Need to build on it . Better defense in the second have. Kelly is a very good offensive player . Goes to his right hand a ton . I hope teams not adjust to it.

    I 100 percent never said he should have a life contract. I believe you earn your contract like everyone else needs to .

    Someone correct me if I'm wrong but this is the last year on Browns contract. Don't need to fire him . Just let him walk . Find a young hungry coach .

    I agree with the above post . Something that does give me hope is that the team started to attack the rim late last game . If that continues I think we will be OK. Call me crazy (those who read my posts know I realistic not a fantasy guy) but I think we play very well at Vermont. I hope we don't schedule a game until Vermont . Get a good week of practice and see what happens. I believe there is talent and we will grow into it .

    If u watch the replay the assistants were yelling to foul . Brown put his hand up and would not let them . According to the paper Brown wanted to foul with 15 seconds let. Either way it was a terrible move by a very seasoned coach.

    Lulka only played like 10 minutes in the first half . He is not atheltic but he is always in the right postion on the defensive end. I like him , I really do. Time will tell I guess .

    Another close loss . One positive at least was at the 10 minute mark in the second half they started to really drive to the hoop. I like that. Need to attack the hoop. Something they have not done consistently this year .

    Shafer is a liability on offense and defense. Yes he can hit a layup . So can I. Otherwise he is terrible .

    That's kind of the chicken or the egg anology. Do we recruit guys that can't score ? Or do we recruit guys who can but aren't coached . I'm really not sure at this point .

    My very early observation is that we have several ok to slightly above average players. No one very good or great . Healy can be completely shut down with good defense. He can't beat you off the dribble. I do think we will be OK this year but need to win game collectively.

    This year does not count for eligibility. So I guess everyone is redshirting .

    Just terrible shots. They make Clarks shots look like layups. They are more atheltic but so far just one on one basketball.

    He is 5'3. Tough very sloppy start. Which is expected. Need to play tough and rugged.

    I want to be within 10 in both games . We have a ton of new players. They have played 5 games. I want to see guys beat people off the dribble. I want to see some athelticsm. Both things we did not see last year. If we see those 2 things we have a shot to be good at the end of the year.

    No . He believes that there are so many new players and so few practices that they would get far more out of practice then a game. Brown says they are so far behind last year and they are not ready. I hope that the talent is better this year and they will play well early but I'm not sure that's the case. Brown hopes they are playing their best ball at the end of the year.

    You're right, let me clarify. Anyone around the team of several other programs are not allowed to do anything. They sign this voluntary "contract" . I have read a couple of articles on it over the last month . These players (coaches, ect) want to play so badly they are willing to do this. I admire that. Does it mean they will not get covid, of course not, but they are playing and we can't even practice. They have a plan. I'm not saying we don't. But.......... , I think we can figure out that we don't have the same plan.

    I don't think anyone would disagree but the large schools are locking their players down. They go to practice, eat with the team, and go home. They are not allowed to hang out with anyone not on the team. Its a choice they make to play baskeyball. Obviously our guys/girls have not made that choice.

    What I find even more interesting is that our non conference games have not been cancelled yet. We are still in a pause and they are coming up very soon . I expect them to be cancelled but only time will tell.

    There is NO WAY that mostly mid major programs are effected. Especially with the Covid surges across the county. The larger programs are either isolating their teams or not notifing positive Covid cases. If football teams with 100+ players can do it then I would think that a basketball team with 15 players can do it . I guess only time will tell.

    I will always stand for the flag. But something lost is that we can agree to disagree and still be civil. I will not support the BLM movement (See a BLM organizer in Chicago stating looting is ok because its reparations) but it does not mean I will be disrespectful toward it. As I said before I truly believe this is the greatest country in the world and part of what makes it great is our freedom to express our opinions.

    Not turning this political but the answer is : It depends. If its someone's belief that killing 50 innocent people is right, then I dont respect that of course. So yes I can however I believe this is the greatest country in the world and the national anthem represents our country. I believe strongly in that. I personally take a knee for god only. So I will repeat what I said. Someone has the absolute right to do something, and I have the the absolute right to not support it! It's always funny to me when people say that they are ok with people doing something but are not ok if someone opposes it. Freedom of expression goes both ways whether people like it or not.     I never post anything like this but this is awesome . This is now the world we live in. It's worth the 10 minutes. Its someone's choice to kneel and it's my choice not to support them.
