Anybody know what's happening in the women's game versus Maine? The live (?) statistics seem stuck at 3:16 left in the first half with the score knotted up at 30-30.

I thought UA would come out soft against Maine after an expectedly tough game against SBU.

I don't know where to post this observation, but maybe here is good because of the debate on why UA has lost two conference games. I see that West Virginia is now ranked #2 in the standings. I didn't think we played them that badly in the pre-season scrimmage.

The UA women beat New Hampshire this afternoon, 66-53.

last year we lost to Fordham in 2 OT on the road, this year we won at home in 1 OT. Still a good trend Thanks for the correction. Yes, let's hope the trend continues.

I like the fact that UA beat 3 teams that they lost to last year. They beat Fordham both years, but it took an overtime last year at home to beat them while it was a clearer victory this year against Fordham on the road. Losses occurred both years to St. John's, but this year's game was far closer. The women beat St. Bonnie's this year for the first time in five outings. And this year the victory came on the road. Last year UA lost to Dartmouth in overtime, but this year UA handled Dartmouth more easily. I like the trends.

I like how UA played good defense but still scored nearly 80 points against a quality team last night.

How many of us thought UA would win 80% of its OOC games? Happy New Year!

It was good to see a former UA coach back in the building, Bob Senderoff. It was even better to send 'im off with a loss.

Evidently NIU played a very successful fourth quarter in its previous game against Sacramento State.

Last night showed me more than at any time this season that we will beat UVM at least once this season. And when we do, I cannot wait to see the reactions of some of their fans on the AE forum who are absolutely convinced that they are far superior to any one else in the league and that they will run the table again in conference play.

Good to see some improved defense and toughness on the court tonight. I think the loss to UVM at the end of last season motivated this year's team to a fine OOC record up to now, and I think this close loss will send the team fighting into the conference part of the season. Thought?

Yes, very proud tonight. I hope the result of this game dispels the idea that UA hasn't achieved much with a weak schedule, so often mentioned on the AE forum.
