i interviewd Coach Marr after the UMBC game, and I asked him what was the difference in the game...on air on WCDB he said jokingly, "play more day games thats for sure"...

yea i believe craig and charles told me that Marr is recruiting hard for 1 or 2 specialists for next year. It has been and still clearly is the main problem when it comes to this team.

i used the tracker thing in the Lax Power forum...they had a update post also, and people were saying we didnt have a single possesion in the 3rd.

Hard loss to finish the season. Still have growing to do when it comes to the Tournament. It can only get better. Like to see all the final stats when they come out. I heard that we didnt even have a possesion in the 3rd Quarter. Not sure if thats true or not. Always next year. Lets go for 4th in a row...shock the lacrosse world

I must say, this is the greatest year in the history of UA Athletics. Look at the run down: - 1 player drafted to MLB - Adam Kroft (if you want to consider it this year) - 2 players, 1 drafted to the NFL (Campbell and Gundmunson) - Former Athlete compeating in the Olympics in Athens, Greece - 3x Defending AE Lacrosse Team, Possible 1st ever tournament win, NATIONALLY RANKED (1ST TEAM IN SCHOOL HISTORY), nearly beating defending Ntl Champs. - A Softball team looking like they will win the AE Title and 1st Trip to the NCAA Tournament, which they can win possibly a few. - More Television Coverage for Football and Basketball - A Men's Basketball team that shows when healthy, can take this Conf, and early favorites for next year. - A Women's Basketball team that shows it can play anyone in the country or in conference. - A Men's Soccer team that is coming into its own in the AE - A Women's Tennis Team that has done a complete 180 - A Golf Team that continues to play well, played its best golf ever, yet some how lost. - A Track and Field, Cross Country Team that continues to send people to the NCAA Tournament and win AE Titles like no tomorrow. - A Women's Lacrosse team that played one of the hardest out of conference sched in the country, and yet came out with a respectable record - A Volleyball team that sets NCAA records, and gets a trip to the NCAA tournament. - 4 TEAMS WITH NCAA TOURNAMENT PARTICIPATION (LACROSSE, SOFTBALL, TRACK AND FIELD AND VOLLYBALL) - A football team thats trying to prove itself to the big boys. THIS HAS BEEN BY FAR THE GREATEST YEAR IN UALBANY ATHLETIC HISTORY. THE CRAZY THING IS, 2005-06 MAYBE EVEN BETTER.

WCDB would love to go, however, Craig and Charles have graduation to attend to this weekend, as well as preparing to enter the real world. Myself am going home for the next week and a half before i have to come right back up for a session of summer classes. Were sorry about it. We would if we could. But the AE championship was our last game of the year. We are only student radio, but we try our best.

would have liked to see Morin as Player of the Year, but ill take pitcher. Haas is a reasonable winner. Top 5-10 in every major hitting category...like to see her an Morin go at it for the title.

Marr loves the match-up because they play fast pace like UA. Thinks its perfect for them from what he said with Wyland. Plans on leaving Friday, and will fly...hahaha should be interesting

to me we are were we are because of that stupied Drexel loss... i tell you, two wins against MAAC teams doesnt scare me. This team can beat Virginia. Cavs seem very streaky if you ask me. We play the solid defense they have, even in a low scoring game, can win.

cant wait to see that interview tonight with Marr at first glance i was upset with the seeding, because i believe they deserved a better game. But now that i look at it, it seems right up there. I think we can take them. Virginia has been up and down, and this team has got something in them that i have not seen the last two years that they have been their before: confidence to win we said it on the air, that since that cuse game, this team believes it can beat anyone in the country. Virginia is gonna get a run

i would jsut think beating two top 20 teams, in the tournament, losing to by 1 to another top 20 team...i was expecting 11 or 12...after talking to craig, its believed th Dartmouth win didnt help, since they didnt make it, and the Drexel loss killed us even more.

1st round against Virginia. To me thats a direspect to this team. That puts them to me as a #13 seed...give me a break. I hope they win just to shut these people up already. 3 straight and you get 13th seed ranked near 15 at least?

let me tell you...I WAS ON THE FIELD WHEN PRESIDENT HALL CAME OUT TO CELEBRATE WITH THE LACROSSE TEAM...THIS MAN BLEEDS PURPLE AND GOLD, AND WANTS SUCCESS IN THIS DEPARTMENT...HE GAVE THAT TEAM ONE HELL OF A VICTORY SPEECH...

What i liked was President Hall was on the field after the game, and gave them a great speech congradulating them. That was awesome. Lets just say he was THRILLED they beat SB. It was awesome. i can tell you after the game we had about a 10 min convo with Coach Marr...myseff and Charles told him we would be back next year, and since they got the new field coming in, that we plan on doing all home games next year, and then maybe 1-2 away games if we can (ala Syracuse if we play them or something like that)... We said that it seemed the hook-up for us on th enew field would be there for us, which we keep hearing, so we arent worried. He told us that he hopes that todays game will get the donors out and give a little more money into the project. Apparently they only plan on putting in the field and a few stands. The big press box etc is for later. But we told him not to worry, because we would be there to broadcast the games. I can tell you me and Charles will do our best. Ill be either play by play or color man for the Womens team next year...looks like play by play...

we at WCDB were thinking of an idea. We are thinking that maybe either before or after the game on saturday, we would play the theme song to scoobie doo on the air...since people like to mock us with it or something...i think it be a good way to show them something...hahaha
