Murphy's an ass

Recommended Posts

Anyone at the breakfast today , please explain better than I could why Murphy's an ass! It was his inappropiate question at breakfast!

Does anyone know what he's talking about???

Ok...I am holding off on my posts until I get some sleep (that D#$K trooper who gave me a speeding ticket definately isn't on my x-mas card list).

This morning, Martineau, Wyland, and Murphy were on a panel at the alumni house. Murphy, who appparently realized he actually went to UA, waxed poetic about everything.

Then, Lou Serivello calls Hall up to lead us (with the cheerleaders) in cheer. Murphy grabs the mike and asks (paraphrased) if after we win will Hall go to halfcourt and present him with his new contract.

Hall, now on my favorite person list, looks at Murphy like he has Joe Pesci's character from Casino behind him waiting to stab Murphy in the neck with a pen and then yell at Murphy "crying like a girl..."

Hall turns around and says something like who are you "(not sure of the first word) Murphy?" Basically sarcasm at its best.

Hall dances around the issue (and to think B. Wilson said the white guys at UA couldnt dance) and withholds his anger.

MURPHY IS A Stony Brook!

Not to dwell on what was the only negative from yesterday but that was disappointing to say the least. For a professional broadcaster to intentionally create such an akward moment and what should be a fun event was pretty dumb.

I have tried, since discovering message boards, to never write a post simply to agree without adding something to the conversation. But i feel Dan Murphy's conduct was so inappropriate yesterday that I'll break my own rule. Bob87 has it absolutely right.
