Good luck to Joe Greene and Marc Pallozzi.

 

Take a look at the schools they are competing against. South Carolina, Texas Tech, Auburn, UCLA, LSU, USC, Texas, Georgia, Texas A&M, Oregon, Penn State, North Carolina.

 

Impressive, what 7 years into D1 and competing with the big boys. Note also the bias towards the South. Hard to be a great (outdoor) track athlete when it snows through April and the season ends the first week of June.

Congratulations to Marc Palozzi, who finished 8th in the javelin, which I believe qualifies him as an All-American.

Results so far today put Binghamton in 40th place (tied with 5 other teams) with 4 points, and UA has increased its point count to 6 and stands in a 5-way tie for 29th place.
