Take a look at the schools they are competing against. South Carolina, Texas Tech, Auburn, UCLA, LSU, USC, Texas, Georgia, Texas A&M, Oregon, Penn State, North Carolina.

 

Impressive, what 7 years into D1 and competing with the big boys. Note also the bias towards the South. Hard to be a great (outdoor) track athlete when it snows through April and the season ends the first week of June.

As the summer solstice has already occurred earlier today, it's wonderful to see that the 2006-07 UA athletic season has still not concluded. Two UA track and field members are competing today at the USA Championship.
