Just reading over the summary for tomorrow's game and thought this was great for Johnson.

STEADY AS JOHNSON GOES

Senior forward Gary Johnson has now scored 10 points or more in conference play in 12 consecutive games. Johnson surpassed Logan Aronhalt’s streak of 11 games against New Hampshire, and is one away from tying Tim Ambrose’s record of 13-straight double-digit games from 2010-11.

WBB: UAlbany falls to Stony Brook 66-56, the conference-winning streak ends at 38 games. Great Danes still will be 1-seed in tournament.

Kind of feared a letdown after clinching the conference championship the other night. That was not the Albany team we've watched all season.

Stinks the streak ended..especially against Stony Brook..but maybe it can prove helpful. Stony Brook and New Hampshire are two very good teams. The conference tournament won't be a cake walk. Beating the cellar dwellers by 50 points only does so much for a team..so maybe the loss will refocus the group on the upcoming tournament.

We haven't been blowing many teams out the last few weeks. Everybody's been packing the paint, Megan doesn't play or shoot well when she's crowded, Shereesha's strength is in the open court or when she can move, and our outside shooting isn't our strong point.
