Baseball needs a sweep

To win the regular season and avoid playing Maine at home in the first round of the tournament, the baseball team needs to sweep Northeastern.

im gonna try and be positive about this team, but i have a bad feeling that this great season may go wasted and miss out on the NCAA's. But hopefully the 36 wins proves me wrong and we take this sucker, i hope so. We are 1 of only i believe 15-20 teams to win over 35 games this season.

seems like a pattern - the womens basketball team also had the tournament opener against the host school. However, remember the mens lacrosse team was a #3 seed.

Its all about pitching match-ups more than home field advantage in baseball. Maine's #1 starter (MacDonald) has been shaky this season, but he is a senior with a lot of experience, and he became Maine's all-time strikeout leader this past week. I have a feeling that the winner of the Albany/Maine game may take it all.
