That attendance seems very low... Not sure I agree. Seems to me like 2400 people.

How was attendance at the other 3 sites ?

Good enough to get me a tournament back?

Pretty sure UVM was sold out. Not sure about the others.

After going 16-0, I would hope their fans would come out. I think if we went 16-0 we'd also be drawing better. Albany as a whole is a front runner town.

Will said "David got us going early and then the crowd I thought fed off David's scoring.Tonight our crowd was outstanding. Our guys felt a true home court advantage tonight." - UA press release

Definitely was feeding off of his early start. You're welcome lol.

Stats updated to include the post season. The number that jumped out to me that I had no idea about was our 25 assists! I know we had some great plays but, based on that number, it was a full 40 minute onslaught of teamwork. LOVE IT.

Also made it a tiny easier to glance at quickly for totals and averages.

Ive said this multiple times but Nichols is a SOPHOMORE! Cremo is a SOPHOMORE who made All Conference team and still looks like a HS kid! Campbell is a SOPHOMORE! Have we ever had 2 Conference super stars and someone like Campbell all playing this well as Sophomores?? Obviously Jamar was a stud from day 1. Jon Iati played great from day one but that was due to a lack of talent around him in the early D1 days. I cant think of anytime we had 2-3 players playing at such a high level as sophs. I know Vermont is really deep but think building around David/Cremo/Campbell next two years going to be great! 40 points on 8 3s in his second tourney game??.

Back to this year. 100 points. 29 point win in round one. Team rallying around David (feels like 2015) Vermont very good (whatever year(s) we won up there. Starting to have a special feel to it. O yeah it's March. Will Brown does pretty well in March. Haha.

Trying to rally up the old roommates from UA and get to SB. When we beat them trying to get them to VT (or hopefully UA) great great win!!! Cant say enough about David!! These kids are amaZing!

I cannot understand after all the success UA has had how the students have not come around. I graduated in 2004 & my friends made fun of me for following the team. But those same guys (all big sports fans) have made trips to tourney games with me. Was at the "Hooley" game. Philly for Duke couple others. I personally believe it's the schools fault for not marketing the TEAM more ! Not so much each individual game. People have plans. Pump the team up pre season. Give students season tix. Have eating/drinking events. Tailgate in the bubble. ANYTHING. Coach Brown & the players have done they job and had enough success. Just my two cents. Probably comes back to $$$ like anything else.

Cremo had the all time assist record in a game too. Edited by MRSGDG

That attendance seems very low... Not sure I agree. Seems to me like 2400 people.

How was attendance at the other 3 sites ?

Good enough to get me a tournament back?

I hope Albany just gave away the tickets. Profiting $3 on processing fees means squat.
Conference might not allow them to give them away.
Pshh, what the America east don't know won't hurt em lol

The student sections looked pretty full to me. Crowd looked bigger than the announced attendance. Crowd was definitely into the game. Very happy for David.

The section by the main entrance (University Gym side) was probably 85% full. The section by the SEFCU lot was probably 30% full.

1473 at UNH, 2750 at Stony Brook. 3266 sellout in Vermont

Counting UA that's about 9500 tickets sold for the quarterfinals. If that was first day of the tourney they wouldn't have sold nearly as many. As much as I hate it, it's more money for the conference.
I get that, but why should we care if the conference makes money???

I don't care if the conference makes money and I've posted MANY times about how the conference has shown over and over again that they don't give a $iena about the fans. My post was to show why THEY wanted this change. Maybe if they sold out every session at the one location tourney format they wouldn't have changed but I don't think anything other than the finals sold out. Maybe the semis when it was at Albany those couple years.

Haha I know, was only kidding. We are both on the same page with the conference.

Only good thing they've ever done was getting the espn3 contract.
