If we won 9 of 11 championships, I'd be bored too.

jimbo
If you believe Sagarin’s methodology, it looks like the CAA is around the sixth strongest FCS conference now. Is that what UA signed up for back in 2013? The seismic shifts continue unabated in FBS. I’m firmly convinced that they are headed for one super conference with most of the P5 schools and some new moniker. They will have a championship of their own. The rest of the now FBS schools are going to have to decide what their future looks like and FBS will have its own championship tournament. Then the FCS schools will have to decide the same thing. What I’m saying is that FCS as we know it today will become a third tier classification at best. With the fan support most schools have, will it be sustainable to pour money into an endeavor that’ll be so far down the pecking order? I’m not sure how long it’ll take for this to happen, but I believe it’ll be sooner rather than later. FCS has turned into a one team level, with NDSU domination and everyone else. Their fans are bored, but apparently they are so remote geographically that it would be prohibitively expensive on multiple levels to go FBS. I think the same thing can be said of the South Dakota and Montana teams. Just early morning ramblings from me.....
