3.  Freshman Landon Whitney will be the starting goalie

Do you know if Scott was saying Whitney will be the stater for Saturday's scrimmage; OR was he predicting/announcing Whitney would be the starter this season??

And does this have anything to do with VanVaulkenberg's injury [supposedly he had an excellent World Tournament last summer??]

My impression was that Coach Marr said that Landon had won the starting goalie job and was speaking about the season.  He said Landon was a Brett Queener type goalie.  Jack Van Valkenberg suffered 2 injuries in the fall and another this semester which required surgery and will be unavailable for at least 4 weeks.  Jack was the back-up goalie to Warren Hill on the Haudenosaunee Nationals in the 2023 World tournament.

You did not mention Hardy (Jacksonville transfer in the above)? He is listed as midfielder. Big time scorer in Syracuse area in high school (111pts as a senior tops in section I believe.) Do you have any idea how/if he will be used.

Also, I think Silas & Salit will start on attack; any thoughts, do you agree & who might be the 3rd??

Pretty sure the lefty freshman Ryan Doherty will be 3rd starter at attack. Think see Hardy running that second line mid depending who he runs out of box from attack with that combo. Salit may be hurt did not see a ton in Siena or Cornell. Parker Winky & Amos will rotate in on attack as well.

Fun fact. Brett Queener is the lacrosse coach at my daughters school in Naples, Florida.
