Christian Brothers Academy (Colonie) opened their new indoor field today. It’s about 3/4 the size of Afrim’s, 64-foot high dome, 214x314 feet. Cost $4 million, donated by alumni.

Just to get basis of discussion when talking about what UA needs

From Wyland's report seems CBA is NOT long enough for full size football; not sure about it for lacrosse??

IF and WHEN UA builds their indoor facility NEED to be sure FULL size field!  Afrims fields are large enough to accommodate regulation soccer and lacrosse; and I assume football also. UA needs to follow Afrims model. I heard a number of $6mil for the most recent Afrim's facility by the airport; but not sure if that includes their two full size outside fields or was just the cost for the indoor field house??

I would be waste of money if they do not do a 100 yd field....  They had planned an 80 yd field.  I saw Scott at Casey right before a FB practice - doing an interview.  I hung around and we talked after he was finished - said the coaches are all pressing for a 100 yd Facility - so Lacrosse games could be played indoors if needed and for other teams to practice in during really bad weather.

The extra cost for a full 100 yd facility is negligible over the amortized payments for the payments that would be made on the financing.  It would be silly NOT to go 100 yards as they can have hosted events that can have tickets sold, e.g. lacrosse and soccer matches and rentals.
