  1. Dyson will start as a frosh!!!!! He will challenge for AE ROY!!!!!
  2. Saw on the AE Official page that Jon Iati won the Rookie of the Week for the 5th time this season!! Congrats Jon!!!
  3. Brent Wilson is a PF. He is 6'8 215 with very good perimeter skills according to what I have read and heard. Also, Dyson is suppose to be a steal! His HS team starts two freshmen guards!!!
  4. Kid keeps playing well! Seems like he is an aggressive slasher. Shot 9 FT's last night. Each game he get's to the FT line 9 or 10 times!
  5. I doubt either will get it! The program needs another player!
  6. I am sure Coach Brown would like to use Hughes scholarship!
  7. Albany signee 6'5 guard Brian Lillis had 22 last night in a tough league loss! The opposing coach said he was UNSTOPPABLE in the 4th qtr. Article is from the DesMoineRegister.com. This kid can play all 3 perimeter positions!!!!
  8. I heard Iati has not practiced since the Hartford game. Anybody know if he is going to play against Vermont??????????
  9. If I was a betting man I would bet that Brown will do everything in his power to get that scholarship back from the NCAA since it is a personal/family matter with Hughes. Also, Hughes is a pure power player. Does nothing on the perimeter!
  10. A student activity center will be built way before any football stadium. They are looking to improve the football seating. Also, a turf field is a way's away. Every year school's put together a plan. Don't expect anything exciting any time soon.
  11. The kid is 6'9 240 and was offered by Houston of Conference USA and had Rutgers and Providence in for school visits in the fall. He is ranked the 286th best player in the nation by the HOop Scoop and Hoopmasters think he could be the ROY in the AE next year. Enough said!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Heard Cheese left to pursue academic interests at another university in another field and was no longer going to pursue anything basketball related!!
  13. Rather blow against legit DI competition than beat up on glorified DIII programs in the NEC!!! Keep your fingers crossed about legit DI football!! LOL!!!! It'll be a long time!!!! Maybe they can wheel in more aluminum bleechers for the games!!!!!!
  14. Ruler is probably a former Albany football player who had to pay his own way and is bitter that he had to play on a junior high school football field and beat teams that couldn't beat Shenendehowa!! NEC football blows!!!! You saw what Brown and any other decent team did to our football team. Spanking!!!! Next year they'll get spanked plenty outside of the NEC! Too bad Siena won't be on the schedule next year!!!! Gotta love the chant FIRST DOWN, ALBANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You need to get a clue Ruler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Your a moron Ruler!!! You don't know crap!!!!
  16. Who are all of these scholarship players??? Jamar Wilson, Janis Pipikis, and Jamal Hughes are three scholarship players out for the year with injuries! Lucious Jordan and Kirsten Zollner are transfers who have to sit out this year per NCAA rules. Five scholarship guy's are in uniform! Next year will be the first time the school has ever had 13 scholarship guy's in uniform under Brown. The previous coach had so many kid's leave you can't replace them all under the stringent NCAA 5/8 rule! I am sure you will jump on the bandwagon next year! Just know the facts before you post things!!!!!!!
  17. Fisher is 5'8 and cannot play the point. He can really shoot but can't handle the ball and must guard a pg! He doesn't do much for me, plus he is an academic question mark!
  18. You don't need to be a genius to realize that Martin rebounds well and has good size for a wing. However, he is not a comfortable ballhandler(dribbling and passing). He can't guard an athlete or a smaller player. That MORON who posted those rebound numbers is definitely his dad or a relative. Who else would waste time calculating that crap for each guy???? Iati and Levine always draw the other teams best defenders and it is the goal of the opponent to stop Iati and Levine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, I agree with Patch. Iati was brought in to run the offense, make 3's, and make Ft's. Wilson and Levine were going to be the go to guy's and Iati the shooter and 3rd option! Please learn more about the game and realize that Martin has some potential and he is a freshman. Hell, Courtney Johnson is not a good offensive player but he defends and can dribble! That's why he plays!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Oh yeah! By the way Iati has been a 4X AE Rookie of the Week already! Granted he played awful against BIng! STill hit two big 3's TO KEEP Albany in the game! Are you another Martin relative??? Ask UNH or Juan Barea of Northeastern who is the best pg in the AE about how good Iati is? You are crazy comparing Martin who can't create offense to Levine who is an ALL AE player! Your a moron!! Obviously their is a reason Martin plays the minutes that he does!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. Iati and Martin are the 2 best players at Albany. Martin has a long way's to go! If you know basketball at all you know Iati and Levine are the 2 best. Martin is a role player! Can't handle the ball and can't guard! Get a clue Old Timer!
  21. You start to wonder who some posters are especially when somebody posts for Todd Martin. Could it be a relative? Maybe daddy? The kid has a chance to be a decent player. Right now he doesn't dribble or pass well and couldn't guard Fat Albert off the dribble! Bottom line is the kid will be a role player at best in the future. Luscious Jordan, Jamar Wilson, Levi Levine, and Iati will get all of the perimeter minutes in the near future!!! You can bet on it! Also, Albany signed two other guards! If somebody is looking for this kid to be an impact or star than maybe he should transfer. If not, then stop making stupid posts. Albany is not having a problem rebounding. They are struggling with TO's and scoring! Martin can't help in either area!!
  22. Yes, in street clothes. Iati had a bad game. He played so well against New Hampshire and Northeastern. He played very poorly and then hit two big 3's with two minutes to go! A freshman is a freshman. He'll have his up's and down's.
  23. Remember, Lillis was out for 6 weeks with a bad knee. He just starting to get back in the flow!
