Joe Dyson had 17 pts. and 12 rebounds and 5 blocks before fouling out in his teams loss last night according to the Delaware newspapers.

I know some people that have seen the kid. They say he is a man physically. Solid athlete, not great! Will score in the post! Strictly post player! Supposedly he decided to stay home this summer and work on his game and did not play AAU ball. The year before he played for Tim Thomas Playaz AAU which is one of the best teams in the country. The kid was offered by Houston and visited Houston which is a Conference USA school. Consider him built like Oakley! A beast! Supposedly a steal for Albany! The Hoop Scoop has him ranked the 286th best player in the nation in the senior class.

Some of you have too much time on your hands commenting on nonsense. Might as well write a book!

Dyson is ranked the 286 best high school senior in the nation by the Hoop Scoop! Also, he played with a guy that starts at Villanova this year as a freshman!

Wilson turned it up a notch in AE play!! Iati is in a tough spot because he is a pg. Wilson just had to score!

L.I.U. played without soph Brandon Thomas against Sacred Heart. He is usually the 6th man. You've got to be kidding with the Pipikis remarks. He is what he is! A bench warmer!

Dangerous game! L.I.U. can score alot of points and Albany can't!!!

Averaged 16ppg in two games this past week and the Danes went 1-1. I think he'll get it!

I heard the marketing dept. has been heavily involved with the students for this game. Busses are picking students up at the dorms. I saw the commerial the past few nights for the game tonight. The game is on T.V. tonight on Time Warner Channel 2. Expect alot of people!

Are you sure that you were at the game?? The kid was sucking wind and had no explosiveness. He got several Colgate players in foul trouble. He missed four or five easy shots because he had no leg's. Without question it was a combo of lack of conditioning and his leg. Yes, he had 5 TO's but he even struggled on wide open 3's! If he was 100% he would have scored 30 against Colgate! Too quick and explosive when healthy and he is much stronger this year! Can't wait to hear your view on the game tonight!

Albany beat this same Army team very easily last year. 65-49. What happened? Army used the same players.

Anybody know if the Danes practiced today and if Wilson practiced??? I think he is going to see the Giants doctor's this week. I wonder if he'll play against Army?

Wilson is a much better shooter than you think or give him credit for. Just look at his numbers from last year and supposedly he is now automatic from 3 when given some time. Jordan is a scorer and a streak shooter. Don't be surprised to see a starting line-up of Iati, Wilson, Jordan, Dyson, and Zollner. Rembember Jordan is 220 pound guard and strong as an ox! Jordan might be the best player in the program. Isn't it good to try and figure out who is going to play. That might mean the program has finally arrived! Don't be surprised to see Levine become the best 6th man in the AE!

FDU is picked at the bottom of the NEC and Albany lost at home. Bad loss for the ladies. The AE is rated much higher than the NEC. Also, take a long hard look at the best women's players. All are Mari Warner's players. Sweetland, Ayers, Jones, Learn, Schumacker, and Hutchinson. Look at Pattersons players. Major, the frosh from Canada, the JUCO girl, Scipione, and the injured girl from Maine. The girl from Canada and the JUCO girl are wild and crazy on the court, Major is a back-up's back-up and Scipione is gone. What did Warner do wrong? Wasn't recruiting!

Will Jamar return or redshirt. The Danes desperately need his scoring. He will make Levi and Iati even better. Anybody have any news????

No Wilson and Hughes means trouble. Especially Wilson. Also, Iati has one shoulder. Siena by 25! We'll get them next year!

I think Brown has done a good job. I think he inherited a mess. I also think that the Danes will be lucky to win a game without Wilson. With that being said Brown will finally have his team next year. All the team loses is Pipikis(Thank God) and adds the four new recruits and Jordan and Zollner. The Danes will go from being a potential last place team to being as good as any other AE team on paper. Stability, promise, and the ability to recruit is what Brown brings to the table. He will get a contract extension after next year, not this year!

Iati had not shot a ball or run for three months. He started shooting two weeks ago and running. Shooting doesn't get you in shape. He's only been practicing live for a few day's now. He will get his endurance and quickness back and when that happens he will even be better. As a freshman he is already much better than Opong. The kid is good!

Iati has only practiced a handful of times and plays almost every minute of the scrimmage. He led them in scoring. He had major reconstructive shoulder surgery in early August and he's back on the court. Supposedly he is wearing a high tech brace on his shooting shoulder. Not only is this kid tough but he can really play. He has a great feel for the game! So much better than Opong and Iati isn't even close to being in game shape! This kid will have a very nice career!
