  1. That’s not the point. Of course he’s a big part of this years team as everyone left. I’m saying the new transfer rule doesn’t make it automatic that this team should win 25 games next year. This board has truly become ridiculous.
  2. I know the rule and I disagree with your logic in why they should automatically be winning because of it. I agree DK was tabbed as an excellent recruiter, but you are putting way too much focus on transfers. No dominant transfer from a P5 is coming to play at Albany because of DK and guys that ride the bench coming from a P5 are most likely going to disappoint you. Any impact transfers at the mid major level are going to transfer up. The four year guys are the ones that you hope he can steal and he’s showed it with Beagle.
  3. Little hurt again? Didn’t see any PT. Neely really needs to get more minutes.
  4. They are definitely bad. The covid pause killed any momentum they may have had. Tough break, but UNH has an even longer pause I believe. The new transfer portal rules just makes it even more competitive all around so your logic there doesn’t make sense.
  5. In the real world employers don’t care if you Stony Brook or Old Westbury. Congrats to Stony Brook and Buffalo being designated as “Flagships”.
  6. He has no business shooting there with the game on the line. I don’t care how wide open he was.
  7. How does champion take that shot of all the players on the floor
  8. Two of their best shooters for the season are still out, but yes what’s out there now is terrible.
  9. Couldn’t figure out who else besides Cerruti was missing when watching. They did not miss from three. You know what happens when teams are lighting it up from beyond the arc.
  10. You take out a loss and put in a win with a non D1 team and you are looking at 5-7 instead of 4-8. Looks like Hartford is the only team with a full D1 schedule. The rest all have at least one non D1 team on there.
  11. Started off 1-7 and now have a chance to end non conference play at 5-8.
  12. As sad as it is I’m just checking this thread and expecting to see the team on pause 🙄. Just inevitable all schools will be hit at some point
  13. And he’s probably still proud of his players. Teams played 8/11 games on the road. He could have scheduled a D3 to make that record not look as bad and inflate those stats
  14. Yup you are definitely right lol. My mother was born in Hong Kong and I was lucky to be able to visit for the first time in early 2019 right before $iena hit the fan politically and with Covid. Masks were especially worn on packed mass transit and at the time it was odd, but just made sense looking back now.
  15. The unfortunate thing with today is no one can meet in the middle any more. You’re either on one side or the other. I for one am glad masks are more socially acceptable now. I’ll forever put one on going into a nasty ass public bathroom.
  16. There’s was no way this team was as bad of a shooting team as they were before last night. I also don’t think last night was an aberration. If they can put it together somewhere in the middle I think they can bear anyone in the America East.
  17. As far which program has the most overall history I’d go with BC. Recent success not so much.
  18. Hell yeah. Could have folded a few times, but they showed fight and held on.
