    I for one admit, I was not happy when Will was let go. But I like Killings and have been pulling for him and the team 100%. He came with the expectations that he was a great recruiter; and I think he has lived up to that hype. Of course it takes awhile; and I like what I see about the freshman recruits and the future. Not overly impressed about the grad transfers he brought in; but I give him some slack there, coming in when he did. Pretty positive about him as a recruiter and the potential there; BUT everyone questioned about his ability to COACH. Of course the jury is still out there and I DO NOT have any problem with people questioning his coaching/teaching/strategizing/etc. Most of us are not coaches or experts but IMHO there is NO reason why we as Monday morning QBs cannot question the teams play and staff performances. It has NOT been pretty and question/complain/burn is what we do on this blog.

    I am not sure if it is hyperbole but this may be the worse offensive UA team of all time??? And I go back to 1968.

    Ps. 1 that’s one. Like almost zero (0) assists in the first half. correction: official score book total of 3. I guess got a couple late in the ½.

    Dito what most are saying. This team would be dangerous IF they could (1) make a shot; (2) find a point guard. Not sure I see either of the above happening though??

    Agreed. Don’t really like to point out players by name; but as long as you brought them up. IMHO was never sold on Horton as a point guard (Kelly was the only competent player @ the point last year & even he deficient.) But I am very surprised by how much Doles & Champion have regressed.

    Just checked the blog, while visiting family in Wisconsin. While reading through this thing I thought we got killed. Went to live stats to find we won; we’re up 1 @ the half; had 3 or 4 players finish in double figures; and won the game on the buzzer. Sounds pretty GOOD to me. Know the opponent bad & bad record; but you have to know they wanted/needed a win pretty bad also. It’s like beating a junk yard dog—-not easy. I was not able to listen to the game; but I for one going to be positive & happy for coach K and the TEAM 😊

    I have been a season ticket holder since the first club game 1968. I know it won’t change a thing; but that ends today.

    Trouble is we have NO idea if Amica can be the answer or not. Don"t even know why he has not been on the floor at all? Even last year he impressed (although too many TO's) for a very SHORT period of time; but never got a second chance???? FREE AMICA!!!

    Jimbo, I see almost all UA home games and most of the away on AETV. UMBC does have an awesome team and two of the best freshman in the league {so does UA have a couple of excellent freshman.} The teams are IMHO pretty evenly matched overall, and BC obviously handled UA 4 straight times including the title match in the Spring. I really DO NOT have any idea what happened yesterday? BC did make one starting substitution after set 2; and that sub did have a hell of 3 sets; but so did all the rest of their team. It just seemed like UA, thought they they had the match in the bag and was NOT expecting BC to rebound from sets 1 & 2 which UA dominated in every possible way. It was like night and day???????

We knew we were going to need to score points to win the game, but a fumble at the five-yard line, a punt-block, those are misses that are hard to overcome. It's disappointing, I feel bad for our seniors. Our effort level wasn't what it had been and Stony Brook wanted it very badly." And just WHO is responsible for all of the above?????🤪

    Umbc looked like a total different team sets 3-5. I don’t know if their coach gave an amazing Knute Rockne speech or threatened them with death. Either way UA did not seem to believe or ready for umbc’s comeback??

    Watched the replay when I got home. Absolutely was a charge and Ceruti got elbowed to boot after being bowled over. Wyland overheard the ref say Ceruti's foot was on the charge line. Well if so then it is NOT a defensive foul and NO shots should have been awarded. What are we now in the fifth year of the stupid arc rule and ref's still cannot get it right. Unless the rule has been changed or modified {and I do not remember reading a modification}; but the rule as orginated specifically stated a charge within the arc is NOT automatically a defensive foul. If a legitimate charge cannot be called because it is taken in the arc then it becomes a NO CALL. Any experts out there; know if the rule has been changed???????? Seems it is called wrong pretty much every single time???????? As I understand the rule, pretty simple if a play would have been a legit charge outside the arc, is taken inside the arc NO DEFENSIVE FOUL AND NO SHOTS should be awarded. ps the rule was initiated to improve scoring inside, reduce ruff stuff underneath, and cut down on the reliance of 3's. IMHO it has failed in all aspects and all arc's should be immediately wiped off all basketball floors.

    Watched on espn+. Totally dominant performance by the UA ladies; & down to a third string outside hitter with Kelly (out???), Gozad (injury ankle), Foerester (freshman stepped up, 7 kills no errors).

    1000% AGREE. Not just football; as I've ranted before, ALL sports downhill since Benson arrived. Alumnae @ Big Time Schools {which UA is obviously NOT} get coaches & AD's fired all the time. Short of contacting Havidan Rodriquez there must be someone we can communicate are frustrations to????????

    Any of you few Volleyball readers know why Kamara Kelly has not played or even suited in almost 3 weeks?? Injury or something else??

    YES; otherwise we could be seeing a lot of 20-19, 19-18, etc games. Maybe question is which end of those scores UA will be on. Yunker must have had 5+ goals, Tucker & Hogg a couple each, Camden Hay a hat trick in very limited time (he maybe getting over an injury, I overheard his dad saying he was begging Scott to let him back in the game but Marr said no??), Pessemetti a goal or two and multiple assist, of the 28 or so goals UA scored pretty sure everyone was on an assist. In other words offense will definitely NOT be a problem. Very GLAD you are staying involved. Have a great winter and I look forward to continue hearing your expertise, comments, thoughts on UA Lacrosse.
