  1. I'm sorry... WE NEED A QB... he is not the answer .... sorry ... we have a national championship type defense ... with a division 3 offense.... and it starts and ends with the QB...
  2. So vanilla.... really need to take a hard look at the man calling these plays...
  3. We should have four scholarships open and two commits so far so they could bring in two more frontcourt players. You are right but they both would play only center (my observation after watching them move on their highlights) . These two cannot play power forward or any other position . Would rather have 1 or 2 true centers on the roster and then fill it out with guys that can play multiple front court positions, especially when we just brought in a center. I would just rather have 6'6 to 6'8 athletic guys. If they both come we would have really three centers .
  4. This is just a rumor and I may be completely wrong (heard people talking about it at the football game) but he may have gotten into trouble with the law, which would not be good.
  5. Interesting offer. If I had the choice I would rather go after Tayler Mattos as a big man . Maybe Mattos does not have any interest in us but has far more upside then the Juco recruit . This guy reminds me a lot of another big body player from last year and he did not see much of the court and ultimately did not work out.
  6. Completely agree . He has looked better and better . Maybe they can open up the playbook more . Attendance was very good . Hopefully it keeps going as the weather gets colder. Nice win for a program that is growing .
  7. At 90 percent capacity (At least). Ur missing the point . U must be very wealthy . Haha . Because ur acting like a client that made 25 percent last quarter on his money but wonders why 1 stock went down. Haha . Jk
  8. The valley cats are an example of lower prices equals more people . If they doubled prices they would not sell nearly as many tickets I don't care how many or fewer games there are. We had around 6500 there yesterday I think . Let's see what happens later in the year not including homecoming . I will continue to pay the prices but as someone with a strong financial background I would rather drop the prices 20-30 percent or more and see what happens to attendance. Would u rather have 4000 people at 35 a ticket or 8000 at 20 a ticket? I don't think the prices are outrageous, but to me it's about building a brand . More people equals more buzz. However I will revisit this thread at the end of the year and if we average 6000 not including homecoming (around 75 percent capacity),I will admit prices are right on. As the only game in town , and done correctly, we should be in a good financial situation .
  9. My two cents, is that the product is slightly overpriced . The economic model I would try to follow is the valley cats . Very reasonable seats and food. They to sell out (or close to it) every game . Build an atmosphere then slowly raise prices . I love UA so I will attend but it's tough for a family of 4 to shell out 100 plus for seats to a mid level CAA college football team
  10. Two really nice players. UA just keeps getting better and better . From what I read we have little to no shot for Abercrombie. (Maybe someone knows different). If we ever got him that would be unbelievable. The guy I would like to get is Tayler Mattos. He is 6'10 and plays very smooth . Also he is very young. May even be able to redshirt him . I think he will continue to blow up this year so if we are going to get him we need to do it soon . A little write up about him: 6'10" big man Tayler Mattos bursts in the rankings at #26 after a breakout summer with a talented young WrightWay Skills squad. Mattos is still in the infancy of his prospect development but his fluid movements, tremendously quick rate of improvement and blue collar work ethic are all reasons to believe his best ball is still years away. Combine that with the fact that Mattos is still just 16-years old heading into his senior year at Kearsarge (NH) and you've got one of the most intriguing prospects in New England. Mattos already holds offers from Boston University, Albany, Canisius, Rider, Kennesaw State, Bryant and New Hampshire Looks like we are really turning the corner to be a very good midmajor. Let's continue to upgrade the Sefcu.
  11. All the sacks were not his fault but even when he has time to set his feet basic throws a high school qb makes are off . Need a qb!!!!
  12. Not trying to be mean but our qbs are terrible . Simple / easy passes are wayyyy off. We need a qb.
  13. This may have been already said but does anyone know if they are mailing season tickets or do i need to pick them up. They have always been mailed in the past but it seems like it's getting a little late. Thanks
  14. I think because of your pure hatred of Siena (I do too), you missed the point . Attendance equals revenue, popularity, and much much more. We have had the better team for the better part of a decade. I'm hoping that the administration acknowledges this and are working on improving our attendance because I believe we can average 4000 if we put serious effort toward it. This is an good out of conference schedule . I guess we will see.
  15. Just saw that Siena ranked 91 in average attendance. We averaged lower then 3000 fans. I know we have had this conversation before but this seems to be a good out of conference schedule. Really hoping the athletic department attempts puts a real emphasis on attendance in the upcoming year.
  16. I have been looking around and I hate fans that see things through rose colored glasses all the time but I need to ask the question: Is this the best team , on paper , that we have ever had?? We lost very little and bring in some very good players . I know people may not think so but when u look at the roster up and down I think we should be very very good.
  17. My two cents ...even though no one asked ..haha.. is if u don't like the direction of the topic don't read it.... In 10 minutes I found 4 different times where topics were mentioned in at least 2 threads....
  18. I have looked into this a ton. It really comes down to MONEY and a major COMMITMENT to athletics... we r unwilling to do either ...
  19. I will be there but it's going to RAIN!!!!!!!!! Not a shower ... I will be surprised/shocked if we get 3000 in the seats ....
  20. It appears we have just about sold out of the one side.... maybe 10 tix total ... still nothing on the other side ...
  21. Does anyone know if they're going to open the other side for ticket sales ?
  22. My tickets say "will call"... if I don't want to what til Saturday with the crowds , where do I go now to pick them up? Nm I called and the actually picked up!!!!!!!!!!
