After topping Maine yesterday, UA beat top-seeded Binghamton this afternoon 7-3.

I wonder if the Bills were scouting him when UA beat UB in the fall.

So that makes the conference championship record even more impressive. I guess all this spring's successes will make UA a lock for the Commissioner's Cup again.

I wonder if New York's governor will attend the game. It might be his only chance to see a sports team from North Carolina. -

$iena for brains..... don't remember his father being so damn radical. Perhaps because the hard right conservatives in this country didn't push as radical an agenda as they do now. Over the last few years, Cuomo has become much more liberal and politically correct. Even the Times Union has included articles on it recently. Perhaps if he and others on the national scens hadn't been so far left, the conservatives wouldn't have reacted so much. Politics shouldn't be playing much of a role in sports at all. -
I received another call from UA this weekend, and since I had just made a donation I just ignored the call. Later I realized it was just a call from Imani Tate and not a donation solicitation, Had I known it was just a thank you and especially from her, I would have gladly picked up. I am just in awe with what she and the women's team did this last season. Imani, if you're reading this board, thank you for the call, and I apologize for not talking with you.

I agree. This seed is a supreme insult. So much for taking down Florida last year. Yes, I know this team is not as good as last year's, but it seems the selection committee almost went out of its way to show disrespect. I hope this development really fires the team up to make it respectable.

Maybe, but we can also have a meaty discussion with our volleyball and/or tennis coach and our men's basketball coach. It would be called Brown 'n' Serve.

Reluctantly, I'll give UVM some credit for stepping up their defense in the second half. I'm quite sure Cremo and a couple other guys will be replaying a few plays in their heads for the next few months.

I don't like being the sacrificial lamb. I will never live this game down like UVA '07 or Hartford '16. This is one step up from the shorthanded game in '04. Did I want to beat UVM today? More than you know. Games like this have a great potential to turn things around the next time.

Yes, I'm aware of what you're saying. Let's hope that some calls go our way which negates those factors. Let's also hope, as you've already mentioned, that Cremo shows up in the last 20 minutes.

For being undefeated in the league and undefeated in the last 20 games, I am not particularly impressed by UVM.

The refs have missed more calls against UVM than they have actually called against them. This situation had better change quickly. What a hatchet job so far.

Games in University Gym were great! Lots of light and lots of fans, before the fire marshalls intervened.

I saw there is an article in today's TU about the team preparing for tomorrow by practicing against hostile crowd noise. I'm not going to pay to read that article. Anyone here care to summarize the main points? I know Brown has used that tactic a few times in prior years.
