D stepped up, Holy Cross opened the door, Offense seems to be stuck in the mud as usual. Only thing that sucks is most of the students were probably gone before the game winning TD and probably hated what they saw. However...THEY FINALLY WON AT HOME!

Just something that popped in my head...does the success of the Thompsons at UA and how much the program has accepted the Thompsons, does anyone think a pipeline for recruits can be set-up with Iroquis Nation and other Native American Tribes to get players here, or was this just a small blip in the history of UA lacrosse? It seems that many Native American players have gone to Syracuse and not anywhere else. Has UA tapped into that a little? Anyone think Marr will continue to look in that direction, same as Will Brown did with Austrialia?

This is a major moment for this program and the department. You have now shown to future players, in any sport, that you can be recognized nationally for your abilities on and off the field by attending this school. The fact is the Thompson's have helped to raise the profile of the school in ways no one ever has. I dare say it...there impact to me is even greater than Jamar Wilson. Side note...both these kids deserve to have #'s retired at John Fallon. I know it's not common, but it needs to happen.

I actually think if Lyle wins it next year on his own I think it will truly put him on the Mt. Rushmore of college lacrosse and lacrosse greats...YEA I SAID IT

I really think Lyle deserved it on his own, but it's only fitting they both take it together. Very historic night for UAlbany, UAlbany Athletics and Native American history.

Ok, I saw it on TV during the conference tournament and I have seen pictures online through facebook...I want a jersey. Screw it...I NEED A JERSEY! How can it be purchased? Nothing on the athletic dept website shop (SHOCKING!). Only available during games at SEFCU? I mean why are these not being sold in mass #'s online. I mean I know I had to go to a football game to finally get myself a football jersey. Just wondering what is going on.

Honestly, wouldn't be overly sad if they lose based on the season...plus I think they still sneak into the CBI or College Insider Tournament with or without the win. Will be beyond ecstatic if they pull it off.

just don't know how to feel about this. My confidence is low being that it is at Stony Brook and it's in that $iena box of an arena they never lose in. Yet part of me know Stony Brook always crumbles in these types of situations and the Danes have won 2 titles in hostile territory. Then I remember they won only 2 away games in conference play this season...I just don't know.

that is the type of game we should be expecting (setting a high bar I know) for this team. Total beatdown. They always play UMass really well. We may have rivalries being created, but these two usually play great games vs each other.
