It looks like Raffa might not be getting a scholarship at Coastal Carolina. They announced over the weekend they were taking a transfer from South Carolina who would be taking their last scholarship for next year. Hopefully they were up front with him when he transfered down there.

Looks like Coastal Coach Cliff Ellis is saying he never guaranteed Raffa any financial aid.

I feel bad for this kid....he had a scholarship here....but bolted out of town seeking who knows what and now he's in a strange situation down there....that's tough.

I just can't get myself to feel bad for him. He left a full scholarship, a good school, and a good program. Now reality has set in that maybe he thinks more of himself then most coaches. He should've never left.

After sitting a year at Coastal is he eligible to enroll and accept a scholorship elsewhere for next season?

I still think this kid belongs on the court for NJIT.
