Too conservative on both sides?

How about throwing a blitzing bonanza in the 2nd half?

We have been blitzing...and have gotten burned twice on the big passes. Problem is, our scheme and corners aren't very good right now. Blitzing like we have is leaving these guys 1 on 1...or putting a slower LB's or our Safeties on a big and agile Dixon. Not a good matchup.

Correct me if I am wrong on that Danefan.

We just need to tackle...and open up the O.

We get burned by slot receivers all the time because our schemes put OLBs in 1-on-1 matchups. Teams scheme their offenses to that. They run the corner off with the wide out and then run the slot on a wheel route or a comeback. The OLB has no chance.

It sure as heck hasn't looked AT ALL like we have been blitzing...

if we have, then we better stop it NOW.

If we are blitzing, and still giving the QB all of that time, then it's hard to blame

the D on the 1on1 coverage.

I haven't been impressed with our stagnant, mundane play calling on the O

Better start mixing it up. I don't want to watch another half like last one.
