I think they added the video later, but man is it good.

Power Lawrence is an awesome name and he had some good looking highlights too.

OLine looks big and strong. Lot of pancake blocks on film.

Some of us were discussing signing day at basketball last night. This seems like better promotion/annoucement then any I remember in the past. But maybe I'm getting old and forgetful too.

I agree. By far the best one yet. I really enjoyed Coach Ford running down the players. Great job by the football staff on this one.

You're not getting forgetful. ;)

A few years ago the complaints were that no announcements were made for days into the signing period. Four o'clock this year seems pretty reasonable. Too bad there was zero coverage in the T-U today.

BTW I see there's a whole new 'Facilities' page, now with thumbnails of up-to-date pictures of all our venues, with links to directions and tickets for each. Another improvement over the past. Now, it's the actual facilities that need improvement.

Anyone have any word on Jojo McClary. He appears to be pretty highly rated on both ESPN (#66 cornerback in the nation) and Rivals with offers from highly reputable schools.

All I know is that from my time spent in Fla assisting my cousin (he coached at two different schools), St. Thomas Aquinas generally produces studs. I do know he was offered by Texas Tech according to ESPN recruiting, which if true is a SHOCKER!!! Looks like it was a verbal offer about a year ago...so maybe they over recruited him. Big time schools like FSU and Florida showed interest...and average schools like UCF showed interest, along with bottom feeders like WKU. He even has a Tom Lemming write up, which means someone from that staff actually watched film of this kid in order to put him in the college recruiting service pitch sheets they sell to Universities.

Kid looks a bit undersized...but if he gets up to 180 ish...he should be more than fine.

As for the SID stuff...I don't want to pile on Brian D...since he did a lot with a little...but to me the new SID has been much more "current" than in the past. Maybe its a product of youth, more money,or differnt outlook...or a little of all three, but everything seems to be more "DI" than in the past.

But maybe I'm getting old and forgetful too.

Stop stealing my excuse. Maybe, this positive change can be attributed to the new SID?

Can't deny that they are making really good strides in getting info out/marketing. We used to complain that we had to wait days to get a simple list of players. They are really stepping their game up...nice! Hopefully this class works out, maybe the pitched some of these kids the new football stadium.

They've been pitching the new stadium for years.

Mike Simpson seemed to be real happy with the recruiting class.
