Any win on the road against a team that is normally very stingy on D (I know they suck this year) is a good win...UNH always scares me. Kudos to coaches and players...I was so distraught over the UVM loss when they showed zero fight but they got back on track. 15 wins already...feels like a 20+ type of season and hopefully a deep run in the AE tourney.

First off, no need to be distraught brother. Pissed, ok. Annoyed, maybe.

2nd, congrats for a conference road win to our young men. This was a game that a team worth their salt would win.

A little close for comfort, but whatever.

We've got a quality team with fight and tenacity. Let's see how things go with uvm and sbu.

BTW, we have a history of beating uvm when it counts. I don't see this year being any different.

Exactly correct - the comfort zone might have been a factor of the two Aussies shooting 5 of 22 ( they were still big contributors). It is actually nice to see two UA players not named Black or Iati combine for 20+ shots in a game. It shows team balance.

Nice to see Metcalf go for 7 & 6 in 21 productive minutes

Can't wait to see how this team will play the next four games with Hartford, BU, UVM, and Stony Brook. After the Hartford game we will have four in a row at home. 7-1 at home. Wish we could have had that Quinnipiac game back. That was a real bad one. They are 5-11 right now. What would an acceptable record be for the next four against the better teams in the conference especially with three of the four at home?

With respect to the next 4 games question that was brought up, my take is as follows:

Look at Hartford from the beginning of 2013; 2 - 0 at home, 1 - 2 away. IMO, the games against Hartford (away) and Boston University (at home) are THE BIGGEST ISSUES that face the UAlbany Men's basketball team over the short (and long) term; with the game on the road at Hartford being the BIGGEST item for the team ...right from the "git-go"!!

The UAlbany Men's basketball team MUST take a viewpoint that the MOST IMPORTANT GAME of the season so far, even with their established 15 - 4 mark that they have produced, is TO WIN the game against Hartford. By UAlbany winning that game, where Hartford last lost on Nov 20, 2012 against LaSalle, Coach Brown should be able to establish SOME sort of...naw, make that MORE.. confidence and self-assurance in his UAlbany team that will hopefully produce a win at home against Boston University 4 days later.

IF, and I say IF, UAlbany wins that game (again, the games against Hartford and BU are HUUGGEEE).against Boston University, then Coach Brown will ned to "keep everyone on the same page" and give Vermont their BEST game of the year, with SPECIAL EMPHASIS provided to the players on UAlbany's attitude and determination over it's previous 2 games and integrating how Vermont handed UAlbany a 'beatdown" only a few weeks ago...provide the team with the good.. and the bad, just to keep them "grounded" and focused.

Now, enough of the prognostications... lets see what the team can do (JEEESH, Coach "Abe" doesn't have this much "drama", she just goes out and kicks every teams a$$)!

There isn't "drama" when you operate in relative obscurity...sorry, it's awesome the job she's done but 200 people show up...

Really want to grab this Hartford game before I'll think about getting to watch four in a row at home.

Hartford had to be coming into conference play thinking they were a contender for the title. They'll need to beat us to stay with contention.

Scary thing about their team, they have two guys shooting a better percentage from three than Iati. Maine clobbered them on the boards, got to the line a ton and still lost because Hartford shot almost %50 from three.
