Congrats to the women's team on the big win! Not to sound like a jerk, but I just can't get myself to watch any type of women's basketball.

Once I went to several of the women's games I really got into it. Also, our players are pretty damn good. I found that after going to several of their games, I get emotionally invested as a fan just like I do with the men's program; meaning, the refs tick me off just as much, the turnovers drive me nuts, and the made 3s excite me just as much.

 

For me it's also a lot better being in the warm cozy SEFCU than the frozen tundra of the BOFO (but I will be there tomorrow more appropriately dressed).

Well said and I will add the comment from behind me directed at the Marist fans "this ain't the maac" still makes me smile as much as comments like that at mens game even though I know they shouldn't

Probably a little too optimistic but I was hoping to see a vote or two in the women's top 25 this week. Marist was getting a couple in last week's poll and I thought maybe we could inherit those votes. Not to be.
