Considering what we lost from last year this schedule is understandable. With so many players returning next year I hope we schedule more aggressively. - DP

Perfectly stated!!!!

I am sure next year's schedule will be more aggressive. Next year we could even start the year getting AP Top 25 votes!!!!!

And just in time. From the T-U blog NCAA women's regional coming to Times-Union Center in 2015

Women's RPI drops to #68 despite the blemishless record.

Men's RPI has jumped up to #105.

It should be interesting to see how that plays out, but conference play should hurt the RPI less for the women than for the men, because they are playing in a comparatively more competitive league.

The difference should be almost insignificant, the bottom half or two thirds of both are terrible - what will help the Women the most is the Duke game, no matter if it is a W or L it will help their SOS and will be the only team with a winning record in their OOC schedule.

A win aganinst Duke or atleast a very strong showing may get the women some AP Top 25 votes, even a loss verse Duke will help their RPI especially because it's on the road.
