Are we missing a weekend in there somewhere..or are we not playing 12 games again in 2015? The schedule above has 12 Saturdays..one of them being a bye only gets us to 11 games.

FCS teams may only play eleven games unless there's an extra weekend between Labor Day and Thanksgving. Last year Labor Day was almost a week earlier, and the season has to end before Thanksgiving for the playoffs. The next 12-game season for FCS is 2019.

Not Duquesne. They would not bring anything to the table for a home game. One of the IVY's Colgate, anyone but an NEC team. No offense to the NEC but if you want attendance Duquesne, Wagner, ST> Francis etc. will not do it. Its an easy W next year but not an attention grabber.

  • 3 weeks later...

Ball St. has taken Middle Tennessee off their 2015 schedule, so Oct. 3 is open for them, but Holy Cross already announced we're playing in Worcester on that date.

Going from never having played and FBS before, to playing two over five weeks is quite a jump. At least, by Sagarin ratings, we're only six to ten-point underdogs to both of them. Both games seem a little early for homecomings.

If HC has been moved to the future, is playing both Buffalo and Ball St. an early tryout for the MAC (which might really confuse local sportswriters)? The MAC has thirteen teams, are they looking to expand?
