Where did we first hear about this potential matchup?

 

The only mention has been the tweet in post #28. BSU's OOC schedule has an opening http://ballstatesports.com/SportSelect.dbml?&DB_OEM_ID=14200&SPID=7633&SPSID=67660

 

Edit: Purpfam18 mentioned ball state on 11/30. But I haven't seen anything outside this forum

Ball state deal fell through late. At holy cross instead. Have to honor the home-home deal.

As much as it would have been nice, I think that playing Holy Cross is the better deal...for this team. That would have been a killer schedule!!!!

I love the end of the year SBU game...they need to make that an annual every-year-last-week rivalry game (alternating sites) if it hasn't been done already. Who knows, some year we might be playing for a playoff berth against them.

It's the year end game, every year for us in the CAA. Pretty sure of that scheduling lock-down.

Well, we could always use the $, but Holy Cross is a more winnable game and an easier drive.

As much as it would have been nice, I think that playing Holy Cross is the better deal...for this team. That would have been a killer schedule!!!!

Amen Brother. Ball State is a no win situation. Schedule an IVY League team again. Holy Cross will do.

Announced at WBB today that season tickets will go on sale soon. Coaches were at the game today but wouldn't/couldn't say if the schedule was set.

 

However the spring game will be April 18.
