I'm sorry this defense looks aweful... What king of coverage was that on that td? Gave him a ton of space to catch and still made no effort to even tackle.

From a defensive perspective, I agree...growing pains.  You also have to remember that we've lost two really important guys are defense in Gray and Burton.  AT LB, we are starting two new guys.   So that may take some time.

But offensively, we look SO MUCH BETTER.

Offense looks very good.  Defense is outmatched and is struggling with tackling.  I think Pitt scored on every possession.

That said, we won't be seeing an opponents offense this big this season unless we get to the playoffs.

Having Vince make one bad pass...and one that should have been caught (LJ on that last drive, didn't turn around to look at the ball)...I am highly impressed with the offense.  Hanks is averaging 5.7 yds a carry.

Think about this...in 12 minutes...we've put up 200 yards on an ACC team.

VT had one bad throw... Everything else has been on point. We may have found an answer at qb for this year. Hanks running good...o line looks better than last year.
