What is Will Brown's next stop? (After his next NCAA Tournament)

I had the same thought re: UA and Mullen and Brown. How quirky would it be if WB came back as a UA WBB coach or are all of those bridges burned?

A burnt bridge doesn't work in either direction - I don't see him coming back as long as Benson has to hire him

Back in December, a member of family, who is a long time Siena season ticket holder, spoke of this potential.  However, I do not know if the Siena AD has guts to make this call.

RODGER’S QUICK TAKE

Siena doesn’t have to look far for their next head coach because he lives in the Capital Region and his name is Will Brown. He knows how to win at the mid-major level. Brown took the University at Albany to five NCAA tournaments in 20 years and his teams competed at a high level when they got to the Big Dance. Brown won in his only season with the Albany Patroons, and in his one-and-done season, he took the Saint Rose women’s team to the NCAA Tournament. Siena will struggle hiring a former UAlbany head coach, but it’s the right choice at the right time.

Rodger Wyland is the sports director for News Channel 13. Listen to him weekdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on WTMM (104.5 FM, “The Team”).

Hey DK, I know it's your program now, but maybe you can learn something from our previous coach:

Saint Rose womens also capped the year ranked first in the country in defensive points allowed per game, defensive field goal percentage, and defensive three-point field goal percentage.

To paraphrase Allen Iverson:

"I know I'm supposed to be there, I know I'm supposed to lead by example, I know that. And I'm not shoving it aside like it don't mean anything. I know it's important. I do. I honestly do. But we're talking about defense, man. What are we talking about? Defense? We're talking about defense, man!

We're talking about defense! We're talking about defense... We ain't talking about the game! We're talking about defense, man! When you come to the arena, and you see me coach... You see me coach, don't you?"
