Bing 1/18

Recommended Posts

I see the article mentions it was like 100 people at maine. Someone on the ae board was touting the attendance as 1500, that must have been tickets sold.

If we blow Binghamton out early, or even if we don't and the others can handle them should we sit Ray to rest his foot?

No way there was 1500 people at Maine. Maybe 450 tops. Definitely what they sold and not what actually showed up.

And yes, sit Ray.

From the radio show, expect Bing to sit in a 2-3 zone the whole game.

Coach also hopes to work on getting a charter flight to Maine next year (the commercial jets to Bangor are so small they won't allow reservations for as many as in the team travel party)

Lol...that should really get the AE board worked up.

As for Bing, I hope to see an ANGRY Albany team today.

So how many are in Albany's travel party?......they won't fit on this American Airlines plane?

I see 64 seats available not including first class.

You need to realize something...we are Albany, 3 time defending champs. We will charter, like Duke!

I fly this plane all the time...and if it does leave Albany to Bangor...it would be fine. The travel part has got to be at least 20 (with support staff). But you'd have to purchase two seats for anyone over 6'4. I am 6 foot...and have horrible leg space in this plane. So in reality, we'd have to be on a plane that has next to ZERO others on the plane.

Surely...could be done in advance, to your point Mainejeff.

Personally, I would absolutely charter up to Maine. No doubt.

Big Rich gets one seat..from the pics they post on twitter.

It's likely the $ issue. School has to approve them the extra money to fly. Good luck on that.

Back to Binghamton though, how has their defense been this year? They'll play zone per 72 but do they normally play zone?

Yep...i see those photos...but NO WAY anyone who is over 6'4 would be able to take one seat on this plane. The space is so, so small. My knees are jammed up at 6'0; my knees are basically in someone's back.

Shoot, I'm 5'10" and I have that issue on some planes.

What Jeff also didn't mention is that the AA flight is a connection to Philly, which is stupid (or DCA). There are limited non-stops to Bangor...and they are super pricey.

Stony Brook flies to both Vermont and Maine.
