Game #32: 3/7/2020 @ 7PM- AE Quarterfinal @ Stony Brook

I guess everyone is 0-0 now so who knows what can happen in the AE playoffs.  Except for UVM, every team has had bizarre losses and then surprising wins.  Unfortunately, UA went from a 3 seed to a 7 seed with no surprising wins and no bizarre losses cause they are a bottom third team.  SBU can be beat if not shooting well but let's be realistic, UA will not hit enough shots to win.  Healy will not be right till next season, Clark will try to do everything he can but I don't see anyone else to compliment him.  Rizzuto hit a few last night but he could go 0 for 8 in the next game.  Can Hansen give us 20 and 10?  

   Maybe they shock the AE Saturday but my money would be on the start of an important off-season at about 9pm Saturday.

They/we will be put out of their misery on Saturday. According to ESPN prediction we have a 13.9% of an upset. Yeah...don't bet your house on this one.

Good because based on what some think a NCAA tournament appearance is the end all be all for a successful program. Them winning three games here should absolutely NOT give this coaching staff a free pass.

Agreed. It's been a terrible season.  Maybe the coaches most important off season in a while. I know it's not Brown MO but he need to recuit offense players . There are a ton of them at the juco level . They play with no structure but can put the ball in the hoop.

Agree on pounding juco- hope season ends so they can get out there. Program needs athleticism and scoring, jojo and amica will help. YES ! If they won three they would go to ncaas lol that would be amazing, but wont happen. Id rather have titles then regular season personally. I think this season is lost team is limited and figured out, on the road too, cant wait to see new faces next year!

Anyone know if lulka is back? If he goes for 2pts 1 rebound four turnovers in 25 minutes we wont need him but man I miss the 8 and 6 guy!

SBU shot 50% from the field, 51.9% from three, and 55.6% from the foul line in losing to UMBC by 8

Can’t tell if you are being sarcastic with filing the box score comment or not, but that game meant nothing to Stony Brook.

Just thought it odd that he had a number in every column (except free throws) in only 18 minutes.

Stony Brook would’ve dropped to a #3 seed, losing a second home game,  had Hartford beaten Maine.

I just want to see the team play well tomorrow . A win would be nice but not expected. Just something small to build on.  Maybe Healy can get back on track a little bit and we play good defense.
