A couple of those clips were of Foster who looks, well, like a power conference guy.

Wary of a Richmond team coming off a bye week and we're banged up. Sounds like Brad Harris will be out for a few weeks but they hoping maybe Crockett can make it back for this game. Coach was talking about possibly taking the redshirt off one of the freshman WRs he really likes. CAA schedule is a grind. This is our third ranked opponent in a row and going back another game, Monmouth is getting votes.

Cutting sports is never pretty but I'm not sure there's a need to bash Graham. The sports cuts in 1994 pissed people off and there were lawsuits then also. Some alums who played those sports are still bitter about it. I don't understand the complaint about the timing of the cuts. They were announced in March. Buffalo cut four sports this year and announced them in April and yeah, there are going to be lawsuits about that also.

Suspect the coaches poll and a lot of others will look this way. I'm fine with Vermont getting the bulls-eye on them this year. I think if we're going to be serious and contend we need to find some interior scoring. Travis Charles will probably give us more pop off the bench but we might be exchanging that for defense and rebounding. One of the things I'll miss about Mike Rowley is that he was a big guy who could knock down free throws in a tight game. I don't see another guy on our roster who can take that spot right now. -
We should have four scholarships open and two commits so far so they could bring in two more frontcourt players.

The Louisville thing caught my attention because we play them this year. They had sanctions from their last scandal and now this. Not sure what shape their program is going to be in by December.

The FBI is investigating charges of fraud and corruption in the basketball program of a public university in Kentucky. Hmmm... http://www.courier-journal.com/story/news/2017/09/26/university-louisville-college-basketball-fbi-sting/703414001/

Offer out to 6'7 JUCO Carlos Dotson of Central Florida.

Just a programming note that Peter Hooley's Melbourne United Team is playing an exhibition game again the Oklahoma Thunder. The Thunder are going to webcast it but I think it might be on ESPN also.

Malachi de Sousa is taking his official visit to UA this weekend.

Dane96 sits right by me, Click and Jimbo (and maybe others). I feel like we have the best seats in the house. Right on the 50 yard line nice and high. See everything. I've sat in the lower level for the spring games and I can't see crap on running plays. I promise to behave. lol. Since there's just the two of us it's not a burden, but I could see where it would be prohibitive if there was a brood to bring along. There should be some sort of youth pricing to try and build up the fan base for future years. We've found the berm a good solution for kids. Tickets are cheaper and many kids aren't great about sitting in one spot for a long time. On the berm they can wander and roll down the hill. Sight lines aren't quite as good and you do miss Eli yelling at the quarterback but hey, you can't have everything.

College Sports Maddness - Top 144

Until we prove otherwise. VT was veteran and steady last year while we were young and a little more up and down. Our side of the equation should change this year with a returning backcourt. Things I hope we can see this year: -A back-up PG. Costa Anderson did a nice job holding down the fort last year but I'd like to see him more off the ball. -Someone to fill the Dallas role. He was a Swiss Army knife for us. -Offense off the bench. -Some kind of post presence. Maybe a lot to ask from one of the newcomers. -

Hard to argue since they had a great RPI last year. They were amazingly consistent. Didn't really have a "big" win - Yale was probably their best - they just kept beating teams they were supposed to beat. -

One of the auction items is for seats in the General Managers box at Yankee Stadium with Coach Patsos. I was thinking that would be a great gift for Bob87. Maybe if we all pooled our money we could pull it off. Seriously, though it's a great event and I'm sure there are better auction items. -
Awesome. A lot to like about this commitment. Just about every write-up describes him as "unselfish" and "high-motor." Also, from NY! I've seen him described as a shooting guard and also as a small forward. I like how we've progressed from essentially playing a third guard at small forward to getting true wings. De Sousa seems like the next in that line but seemed to be even better offensively. Stoked about the present and the future.

9/2 @ODU

Could see that coming during the game. He had the 55 TD pass when we pulled within 7 late. I thought we had good coverage on that play, their receiver was bigger than our DB and made a nice play. Other than that, he wasn't impressive. -

QBs? I'd much rather talk about Morfor. True freshman against against an FBS squad that won a bowl game last year - 99 yards. Damn. Thought the JUCO Diggs had a solid first game for us. Not going to eat Brunson's lunch after a game against a good FBS team. -
Just a heads-up. I added a couple of links including America East TV. Also, the link for the 104.5 The Team's youtube channel. They park their interviews there. You can find a lot of the interviews with Brunson, Coach Gat and some with CB there. If you have any other suggestions for links just let me know.
