  1. Great to see Phillip get the all-conference nod. She does a lot of the dirty work for this team. 08, I think the women's tournament format is going to stay the same. I don't know that they've announced where it will be held. I have to guess it would be Hartford.
  2. I tend to think Devlin would get more minutes regardless as he has more tournament experiences. Two concussions in one year, that's bad news.
  3. Max Twyman's Brewster team won the Prep School National Championship tonight. Mike Wells St. Thomas More prep school was in the same tournament and are ranked #2 in the country. So for our 2014 recruits we have: A national championship for Geremy McKay in Australia and A national championship for Max Twyman at Brewster. No pressure Wheeler Baker
  4. Fairly easy win tonight over Peru in the state regionals. Cremo and Scotia to take on Bishop Ludden in the state quarterfinals on Saturday. I think that game is at Hudson Valley.
  5. Unreal game tonight in the Section II Title game - Scotia vs. Troy. #1 in the state vs. #3 in the state goes to double overtime. Scotia had multiple chances to put it away in regulation and overtime before finally getting the win despite Dyaire Holt and Radz's heroics. Cremo was named tournament MVP.
  6. Kind of feared a letdown after clinching the conference championship the other night. That was not the Albany team we've watched all season.
  7. Also our first class to graduate with a winning record over Siena throughout their careers. Hopefully the first class of many.
  8. Nice finish for the senior class. Good way to go out. I haven't seen any chatter for Gary Johnson for one of the all-conference teams but he's actually the 10th leading scorer in the conference and 6th in FG%.
  9. Duquense loses to UNH at home earlier this year and tonight they beat #10 St. Louis on the road.
  10. Scotia and Cremo dispatch Amsterdam in the Section II semifinals tonight. On to the showdown with Troy.
  11. They also set the record for most consecutive conference wins tonight.
  12. Geremy McKay was the leading scorer for his Victoria team as they won the U20 Australian Nationals. They beat Jack McVeigh, considered one of Australia's best recruits who is getting ACC and SEC offers.
  13. Women are going for a record 37th straight conference win tonight against Bing. Could be quite a night if Vermont beats UNH it would be a conference title clinching win also.
  14. They survived... Yup 20pt lead cut to 1 at one point. A win is a win. Enemma continues to impress me. As well as Gary Johnson has played this year I hate to say it but our best lineup offensively is with Dallas on the floor.
  15. Cremo's Scotia team is now ranked #1 in the state in class A. They begin the Section II tourney on Feb 23rd at HVCC.
  16. I realize this has been an aggravating year for some of us but do you guys every look up how many programs have 3 NCAA tournament appearances in their first 14 years of Division I? I encourage you to do so because you aren't going to find many, if any. See our fellow SUNYs if you want proof. Past history doesn't make this frustrating current year but it doesn't mean those years didn't happen either. You can attach the word "miracle" to last year's win at Washington and again in front of last year's tournament run to play Duke in the NCAA tournament if you want to. That would be two miracles in one season. It came after losing Aronhalt and Suero in what most people said would be a "disaster." That disaster ended with us watching our team play Duke at the Wells Fargo Center in Philly. I'll take that disaster and "only" going to the NCAA tournament every five years. If you want to call me "too loyal" that's fine. What I'm loyal to is a program that has outperformed it's peers (Buffalo, BS and Bing.) It's just not showing it this year.
  17. He and Gary Johnson have been the only thing worth watching.
  18. Limped off. Two fouls of Hooley. The experiment of him at the point looks on hold now.
  19. Listening with the sound off. Hartford shooting 60% from three. Ugh.
  20. Just trying to get in the spirit. I think MJ would probably make the color Maine blue.
  21. Had a meeting the other night so I missed the game but Scotia clinched the Foothills title. 16-0 and the #2 ranked team in the state.
  22. No mention of Ede, who was in street clothes. Maybe there was something on the radio that I didn't hear.
  23. Not going to be a good night for attendance but probably no concessions lines tonight. Also a good shot a shirt.
  24. Saw today the women have the longest conference winning streak in Division I. 32 games, tied with Hampton right now. I'll be rooting for Howard, Norfolk State and Maryland Eastern Shore in the next couple of weeks so we don't have to share that record any more.
