  1. Read up on him a bit. Looks like he was a late bloomer which is why he was under recruited. 4.48 speed ain't no joke
  2. Curve only matters if you go 70 inches or bigger.
  3. What Directv network is this going to be on? This is huge. This is exactly the kind of thing that helps get asses in the seats and build local programming around the university. Do any other local schools have this?
  4. Hey- i know you had a cousin who played baseball at Siena. And I believe I've seen you wear a Siena tshirt more than once, Benedict Dane!! Not true at all. What is true is that not only did you PREFER to hit on the Siena girls down at T's but you also did your thesis in Prof. Roberts class on The Renaissance Art and The Effect on Outlying Non-Florentine Areas focusing on..wait for it. Siena.
  5. Posted this in the wrong topic. Oh the irony. New/upgraded arenas bring new fans. Look at the attendance at the Bofo for the first season (terrible team) vs. the second season (much better team). If you think it's just about the quality of ball on the court, you're mistaken. We averaged 7000 in 2013 and i think around...5000? in 2014. Obviously this isnt just in Albany. Every new baseball team that builds a new stadium increases attendance pretty dramatically. The Miami Marlins drew 700,000 more fans in their first year in a new stadium. That was a team that could barely draw flies, let alone catch them.

  7. I started this thread on a more appropriate topic. I hate that this is on the Siena thread..so move over there please and thank you.
  8. I figured let's take this off the Siena thread since it has nothing to do with them. The less topics involving the better, I say. So the question is, with Benson around, what has he done to reach out to the community so far? Has anyone noticed anything?
  9. That's still 6. We had 5 last year. Unless Sussman doesn't sign. I have really high hopes for Shanley based on his rating out of HS and the program he came from. I guess we'll know more once spring football starts.
  10. I mean Smith. Was reading an article by a guy named Ryan White at the time I wrote that. Mea Culpa.
  11. And Neven Sussman AND Sweeney. 7 QBs? At least 2 are leaving, no? My guess is Harding and White and maybe Sweeney.
  12. Shanley, Harding White Brunson Crook Am I missing anyone? I'm assuming at least one of these are transferring out?
  13. Rowley really needs to kick out to the open man more. Everyone does that to us, but its a bit of a vacuum once it goes into Sam. Lots of bad bad shots today.
  14. quick twitter search today has us with a verbal from Dione Alston out of Salem, NJ.
  15. Let's start anew So what's in the current stage 3 plan. And what's the timeline?
  16. What difference does their attendance make . No other school cares what LCC draws if they agree to play a home and home series . Why should I care or more importantly ualbany care. It is long over due to get a normal contract for the LCC series or stop it I was just curious—apart from this "cup" controversy. Shame that a school with far fewer students, in a far less convenient location, with far less success over the past decade, is still out-drawing us by a lot. Wondering what can be done to actually change the focus from old to new guard in the capital district. Anyone see much (or any) promotion for our home games? I mean our arena is about a mile from Crossgates Mall--talk about marketing opportunities. Come for the Pizzeria Uno, stay for the Great Danes. or Free Cheesy Bread to the first 1000 customers with a ticket stub.
  17. Commitment today from Isaih Clarke WR out of VA http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Isaih-Clarke-150388 Anyone know anything about this kid Offers from Delaware St and Youngstown St as well.
  18. Terrible loss by a team that has NO heart, no middle. Too tentative, no smoothness and clearly no offensive game plan. Yes, we made the tourney on incredible runs the last two years, but this is just so damn frustrating...I thought we'd build on something from the last two years... Blargh.
  19. A flask of meth, maybe. Maybe they should go back to those ugly-ass uniforms from last year.
  20. This announcer has an interesting definition of an "easy layup" 20 bucks says we hear "boom goes the dynamite" soon.
