  1. FF to 1:15. Clearly a clean onsides kick. And even worse is there are no flags thrown even after the clear recovery. Not until the fight breaks out. Unbelievable.
  2. My thoughts: 1. Fiacchi played the game of his career. He played like a top notch FCS QB. 2. We didn't go to the run enough but the rushing stat is skewed because of the botched punt. That cost us negative rushing yards. 3. We lost the Special Teams battle so we lost. 4. It was the worst officiated game I've ever seen at this level. The Refs should be disciplined for it. BUT....we had ample opportunity to win that game before the last onsides kick and we didn't 5. Our D-Line is so undersized and that really lost the game for us. We couldn't keep contain at all. Their QB was bigger and stronger than our D-end. It won't work at this level.
  3. Some sections in the upper deck are almost sold out. Hopefully it will be a good crowd.
  4. Oh well. Someone with such lack of brains and common sense should move on from UA anyway.
  5. For those Albany Law Alumni on the board
  6. I don't mind the loss. The only thing I care about is the poor tackling. It doesn't matter how good the other team is, you have to make them make the plays to win. We gave them points yesterday with our tackling (or lack thereof). Something we hadn't done all year but was eerily reminiscent of last year.
  7. Yeah. Too bad they just handed the ball off. I get it but wouldve been nice.
  8. I was hoping Sweeney would get some time this year. He was a great HS athlete.
  9. I don't care that we're getting killed. I care that we can't tackle. It's attrocious.
  10. Agreed. Omar is out but Fiacchi is still in. No reason. He's not getting any better.
  11. That is confusing. Did he ever show up at Albany? Where did he go in the meantime? He's Google invsible.
  12. Yep, agreed. And it only helps recruiting if we keep winning. That's the key. We have all the pieces now. Winning completes the picture for recruits.
  13. I'm happy to be proven wrong on Fiacchi. The more he proves me wrong the more we win.
  14. Rare from Colgate fans but common from the Ivy and PL fans. They have a legitimate gripe but just need to get over it. They were playing in and winning rose bowls at one point. Now they're losing to SUNY schools.
  15. We better score some points or else we'll be in trouble. Colgate is solid.
  16. Either way he'll be very young and inexperienced...it will take time. He also played at a very high level in HS so that will help. Its always a jump, but the jump is much easier when you come from an area like the North Jersey Catholic School League (Paramus Catholic, Don Bosco, etc..)
  17. I believe it. I watched Shanley play in HS. He's legit. If he's the next step, I know why Fiacchi is still playing. No sense in burning Shanley's redshirt.
  18. The question I have is where is his successor? At this point anyone can thrown for less than 50%. Especially when you have guys like Parker and Gontarek. This was the year someone should have stepped up. New, simified offense. New coaches. Perfect chance.
