What year did you graduate from Albany Law? Law Schools haven't been led by real accomplished lawyers in a long time. I agree that is what Albany Law needs though.

You have an over-inflated view of Albany Law professor's credentials. Albany Law's star crim law professor is a pure academic himself. And again. The argument is moot. No one is saying your dumping professors.

I don't think anyone is saying the current professors would be dropped and replcaed with UA professors (althought I'd gladly put James Acker up against any Crim law professor at Albany Law).. And I don't see any way at all for Albany Law to become a public law school without affiliation with UAlbany.

I have zero sympathy for people that go to law school and end up with unmanageable debt. I chose to go to Albany law over much higher ranked schools because of a scholarship. Best business decision I ever made. People who aren't offered financial assistance from a lower tier law school in this market should have zero expectation of it paying off financially and should really reconsider their choice. I tell this to any student that asks me about law school.

What a throw away line. And current students are the last people whose opinions really matters to me. You have zero perspective when your nose deep in a book all day.

FYI - the Dean of Albany Law has announced her resignation today. They have nominated a current professor as Acting Dean to implement their strategic plan but have not mentioned anything about commencing a search for the replacement, etc... Apparently the Dean is going to stay involved in what she calls in her resignation as a "potential affiliation with the University at Albany." I'm speculating but this makes me believe we may end up with more of a takeover than previously anticipated.

Towson is definitely down from last year. Our defense is really good If Cole King had caught any passes last week we would have looked a lot better.
