Season Tickets

Recommended Posts

I've been to a few games at Sefcu before and was thinking about getting season tickets. My only concern is that when you attend games you can basically sit wherever you want anyways. There's nobody regulation the seating throughout the arena. So what's the guarentee that you don't have to kick someone out of your seats all the time?

That's true at most college games. Once in a while there's someone in my seats. There's never been a problem getting them to move. All of the original chairbacks were sold in prior seasons, but I don't know if that's true with the additional ones added last year.

I'm surprise alum73 didn't mention that you could join the Varsity Club, get to SEFCU an hour early, put your coat in your seat, and then go to the pregame gathering.

What's the Varsity Club and where do you hold the pregame gathering? Across the Street Pub?

Varsity Club meets in the old gym, but tomorrow, the event is tied into the DANEger ZONE pregame party. On weeknights we have a meal, on weekends it will be something else, but I encourage everyone to join Varsity Club. It's a good way to start your giving to athletics and we provide you with some nice benefits, such as a tee-shirt, pregame events for football and men's basketball, reduced prices on bus trips, Varsity Club luncheons (next one Dec. 3), etc. There'll be applications at tomorrow's pregame, or use the link

Even though I give other $ to UA and athletics, my wife and I will always join the VC.

I upped my ticket allotment from one to three seats this season....if someone is sitting in your seat as alum says you can politely ask them to move....I've never had an issue.

And if they don't move, show ticket stub to their face. And if they still don't move, kindly have them escorted out of the building.

As long as you have your stub and are trying to sit in the right area, you win. Always. We've had security guards stand in front of our section before, so I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to get someone removed from your seat.
