I think we actually outgained them but doubling their penalty yards and 3 turnovers aren't going to do much for us.

 

I guess we found that adding that CAA patch to our uniforms doesn't give us any superpowers. Reminded me a lot of the Colgate opener from 2011. A game we were too good to lose until we lost it.

I have pretty realistic expectations for this season...we lost so much from last years team. I think there's a very good chance we have our lowest winning % if a while...and that's OK. Gonna take our lumps as we ramp up scholarships and start getting some CAA level classes in. That's the reality of it...just can't help but feel a little disappointing as I think it will take away a bit of the luster from the new stadium if we lose a lot of game.

 

Oh well...just keep improving.

That's a troubling question to ask heading in the first CAA season...it's a good question.

Just got home from the game. Tough loss. Thought the O-line struggled to open up holes. The defense got cut up and the DB's took some really bad angles out there. Hopefully we can improve from here.
