Via Mark Dixon (ESPN Lacrosse, Inside Lacrosse, Big Ten Networks):   What Happened: Albany 14, Yale 13 OT Takeaway: At this time of year we often talk about Denver and how it seems to ‘go away’ in

Guys, UA has been to the quarterfinals the last 2 years and are currently ranked #7. I'm pretty sure that qualifies as a power program.

That was one of the worst feeds I've seen in a long time. The herky jerky was pretty bad but the camera man needs to understand that lacrosse is not a game where you can fully zoom in on the player wit

Good for him! Not to put a damper on the achievement, but the commentator for the game mentioned that UMBC was next to last in the country on face offs.

After that game, UMBC is now last. Albany is up to #31 of 69. Zach is 23rd. Protesto of Hartford is #1 in the country.

I think Zach is improving each game. All we can ask of a freshman. Just hope Hartford isn't 2 for 2 in upsetting a superior opponent after the basketball debacle.

The way UMBC's Lewnes was scoring the other day it seemed like there was! Thinking back to that game it seems a shame that UA is apparently unable or unwilling to land a top defensive recruit

capable of shutting down a hot hand.
