I am frustrated on how they can be good one half and can't hit anything in another half.  Some parts of the game can be blamed on youth, but you should know how to shoot somewhat consistently at this D1 level.  I didn't see Williamson, Barrett, and Reddish out there defending.  I will have a drink or two at a Xmas party now, relax, and be ready for Providence.

This is what you get from 4 freshman starting and playing big minutes. Inconsistent play... They shot poorly which then impacted their defense.

Bad half... Keep running them out there. If there was ever a season for "it's all about the ae" this is that season.

Lots of good stuff happening within all of the bad. I'm no where close to giving up on the team, but eventually the losing has to grind on the team as much as the fans. I wasn't there as my kids had basketball games this afternoon, but I watched the first half and parts of the second on my phone.

What I saw wasn't that bad, just shots didn't fall for either team on one side of the court. That rim needs to be checked lol.

I'll defer any analysis to those who actually watched the game closely, but from what I saw it appeared to be a case of shots just not falling. Near the beginning of this thread I said what I thought they needed, and nothing today has changed that opinion. Continue to improve and be healthy by conference season. I can definitely see this being one of those teams that can get hot at the right time down the stretch of the season and beat anyone, but also score only 16 points in a half and lose to anyone. Too much reliance on the 3 will do that. (I am aware they scored 18, but I don't count that last layup by Clark with no defense)

A play in game after winning the conference tournament as the 5 seed will be OK by me this season :)

Was behind so I just finished watching the game.  I'm not sure I've seen an Albany team miss as many open shots as they did in the second half. That was just hard to watch.  Really fun to watch first half.  Good on both sides of the floor.  Just keep plugging away.

Some of you seem to think we will be good come conference play but I just don't see it. I think it's going to be a long season from start to finish.

I do think by the end of the season this team has the potential to get to the finals in tourney. Mock me if you will...

I truly hope so. But after what I have seen in the first 11 games . I will mock away . Haha .. would need massive and I mean massive improvements.

Bottom half record wise, first round loss in the AE tourney.  I really hope I'm wrong but I just think they need a lot more time to get experience and get better.  I know the conference is not that good but I just don't see a huge improvement coming in the next month.

I would never mock anyone for thinking anything about what the rest of the season will bring.  I just don't see and as I said, I REALLY hope I'm wrong. Do I think this team will be very good next year?  If we don't lose a lot of players, YES, very good. A full year for freshman and jucos.

BTW I'm not saying this is a 20 win team... They aren't even close but I think they will continue to get better even if they win 11 or 12 games this season... By tourney they should be better then now and I think will he a tough out. They do have a long way to go.

Last year we smoked the ooc schedule and then flopped like a beached whale.  Then the two ‘stars’ fled.

Maybe this year will be the exact time opposite.

We could get a first round win in the tourney depending on our seeding.  But not a 2nd round.    As it looks right now.

I truly hope so . I really do. My point Is this .. how much better are then we now then we were during the canisius game ??? Not much . We will def continue to improve but will need to improve at a much much more rapid pace than we r now.

I too think this team could gel just in time for the AE tourney and make some noise. We have the tools, just need to figure out how to use them. That take a little more time.

I'm not upset at all with any loss so far this season.

Wow. I didn't realize the rebounding difference was so massive. We got destroyed on the boards.
