Cuff appears to have skills. Time will help him go through his progressions. Encouraging to see some TE targets and it resulted in 2 TDS.  This is the first game in a while where UA was able to physically dominate an opponent, but the big kids start lining up on the other side this coming Saturday.  Let’s see if there’s momentum. I really gotta question the reported crowd size.  The upper deck was deserted, I think the pep band outnumbered the fans on the far side, the berm had huge swaths of green.  Where do they get these numbers? One more time in case anyone in the AD reads these posts: moving the hospitality tent is a DUMB idea.

They always count all season ticket holders as present at games.  Makes the total seem like more

Cuff HAS to learn to go through progressions rather than forcing the ball. Pretty sure that's what Davis was telling him.  On Def. HB are finally playing closer and it does make a difference.  Inside LB's dropping too far leaving an open zone underneath.  OLB covering tight ned on zone??

Yesterday I was trying to be a little more analytical and instead of watching the QB, I was following the TE or perhaps another WR. He really does need to scan the field before locking in. Lots of missed open receivers. Seems to really have a strong arm, something that was touted as he was a BB pitcher in HS. The INT was forced...no doubt about it. Although the D made most stops when needed, I thought they gave up too many easy yards to an inferior squad. But the result was fine. That run by Mofor where he discarded a would be tackler like yesterday's leftovers was a classic. Plus the TD by Wisnewski....he was a beast. Always fun to see an easy win.

Hard to judge much from this game. GG said Lafayette had some good players and up and coming in their league. I think GG is just being kind or politically correct; overall Laf. is BAD. Predicted 5th or 6th in the Patriot and I always felt the Patriot was notch or two below the Nec., even though ratings organizations always seem to have them higher or comparable. Anyhow don't know where they stand this year ratings wise, but to the eye yesterday, they seemed very under manned. Their QB undersized and underweight might be worse than UA's past 5 QB's, who we all know were nothing to crow about. He actually played OK and is only a freshman and I do not mean to be little him or Lafayette; but just seem overall not very athletic and just undermanned.

So judging UA so far pretty difficult IMHO. Did somethings OK vs fbs; maybe a little lucky vs Bryant (who may be the best ooc fcs team we played); looked BAD vs a BAD monmouth from a BAD conference; and looked GOOD vs a very undermanned LaF.

HOPE I'm wrong; but based on what I've seen so far 1 or 2 caa wins may be a stretch.

The stats are skewed heavily due to this cupcake schedule we've had, where we went 2-1 (don't count Central Mich. as they are FBS). These stats should level out drastically once we get 2-3 CAA games in.

That being said, we have the lowest attendance in the CAA. Disgrace.
