For the second time this season, there is going to be a need for my LL Bean rain gear for Thursday's evening match:

Thursday Day

Showers, mainly between 8am and 2pm, then rain after 2pm. High near 50. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Thursday Evening

Rain, mainly before 2am, then a chance of showers after 2am. Low around 43. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

The local TV forecaster have not offer any hope.  The NWS will update potential amounts of perception closer to Thursday

Rain gear indeed!  It’s amazing to say now after all the hype for this game for a year but This game honestly means nothing to UA & everything to Cuse they are in must win and UA has nothing to gain if they do beat them as Cuse is unranked. Cuse plays Cornell, UNC, Virginia & rematch with ND to end season they need the wins to be above 500 to be eligible for at large bid. UA has to focus on Sat game vs UMBC for AE conf. With quick turnaround. But of course we want to beat Syracuse here in Albany just wish for once the weather would cooperate it would truly be a sight to see Casey absolutely packed like it was for UNC in 2017! Either way let’s get some!

But who will play the part of Bennett Drake?

Which Bennett Drake are we talking about?

Bennett Drake is a Detective Sergeant of the London Metropolitan Police, and Edmund Reid's right-hand man in H-Division.

or

Bennett Drake (88) Midfield - 2017:• America East All-Conference Second Team in the UAlbany first midfield• Eighth in the America East with 1.94 goals.

Ah yes. I forgot about that. We were big fans of “Ripper Street” too. I’m thinking the latter, but the fictional one with a cross in his hand could prove useful although terrifying. Maybe as a penalty killer? I picture him more as an enforcer on an ice hockey team.

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for today:

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwestern Connecticut,
eastern New York excluding the central Taconics, and for eastern
Windham County in southern Vermont.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A slow moving storm system will bring periods of rain to the region
for today into tonight. Some of the rainfall may be moderate to
heavy at times, which may result in ponding of water in urban, low
lying and poor drainage areas. There is a marginal risk for flash
flooding for the area.

There is a slight chance for a thunderstorm this afternoon and
evening, mainly for areas south of Interstate 90.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed late this afternoon into early
tonight.

Quite a half.  Either Syracuse is that bad...or we are turning this around.  Offense looks more dynamic out of the defensive end with Ramos in goal.  We literally should have been up another 3.  Hope it doesn't bite us in the ass.
