Reddish among the missing again. No points.
OPINIONS:  is/has he been over rated on this blog; just in a slump; or just giving up on UA???

Runs in the family as the Knicks have benched his brother since Dec 3rd.  Overrated sounds like the proper adjective.

I don't think so. Announcers were pretty good at pronunciation except for "AmericaN East", and amused by the "U"Albany

I used to think the U in front made sense. The more I think of it, it makes no sense. Should have just got rid of it with the logo update.

When it first came out it was supposed to be an “informal nickname”, okay for a Times-Union headline to distinguish from Albany High and all the local pro teams, but it shouldn’t be the primary reference.

I'd rather they call us UAlbany than God forbid "SUNY Albany". SUNY for some reason just gives me 'little school' feelings. No one refers to UNC-Chapel Hill as such...they just say North Carolina Tar Heels. Or UNC-Charlotte...it's just Charlotte.

But ultimately I would prefer just Albany. But I believe there is a few Albany's in the US so perhaps that's not right either?

You'll be happy to know that SUNY-Albany and "Albany State" are also not acceptable.

I have seen UNC-Chapel Hill - maybe written by people from Charlotte.

I kind of wish we had gone the Ohio route added "THE" to State University of New York. Let Buffalo and SBU complain.

100%. With Nano coming back, we are THE State University :). Totally not biased.

Watching him play it appears he has lost all his confidence or maybe got his hand slapped too many times for the technicals and trash talk and now he just isn't playing like himself. Maybe he gave up, who knows. All I know is that when he is aggressive he can do things physically that others on the team can't. Explosive dunks on drives. He is still over 35% from three so he can shoot. He looks tentative and afraid to try to do anything when he gets a touch.

Talking about this game with my son, we talked about the shots the team was taking. It looked like a lot of the threes were fading away or drifting. The more set shots or ones with motion towards the basket were going in at a decent clip, but the ones unbalanced were close to zero.

Hopefully come conference play the team plays more confident and direct against the AE level defense.

A concern: Can we put a hard but expected OOC loss behind us and be ready for New Hampshire three days later?

Question answered!!!! The Great Danes were not ready and/or willing to make an effort on Saturday.
