    UA Lax has a fair amount of credibility down here in the Atlanta area where lacrosse is growing very fast. Thompson's playing for the Georgia Swarm has contributed to that as well.

    Can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that **North Carolina** is travelling to UAlbany to play in the first round of an NCAA tournament??!! If you told me this 20 years ago (when I graduated) I would have thought you were out of your g-damn mind.

    No reason to leave the AE. We are very successful in this conference and it affords us national exposure 2-3x per year or more. Realistically no other conference could offer that to us. And as DanesRGood stated, there is very little student support for athletics. Why spend the cash? Bottom line, the AE gives us the best possible ROI.

    Anyone catch the latest episode of that UCONN documentary that's been running on HBO? It was about their prep for the tournament and the game against UA, and they played a few clips of our team in the locker room
