  1. I might be wrong but we haven't lost a non-conference FCS game under Coach Gattuso.
  2. If you click a the sub-forum if you gives the option to view all the posts back to the beginning of time when our mascot was a penguin and the post were in Latin. MsGDG just revived that house flag post from seven years ago.
  3. Or two straight passes when you could have run the clock down even more. Not short passes but shots down the field. I guess it kept it interesting right up until the end.
  4. It's probably not too early to start asking about the P+G scrimmage since October is right around the corner. It's generally been on Homecoming weekend.
  5. I saw a picture of Mike Rowley on Twitter and he is jacked. Lady DP thanks you for the Magic Mike picture. Now she wants to know if we can get seats closer to the court...
  6. Nice looking player. Big and physical, more like a SF than a guard.
  7. I'd like Army also but there's got to be a long list of schools that want to play them.
  8. More steals than turnovers is damn good for a PG and 173 assists. He's putting up those numbers in the same conference Evan Singletary played in also.
  9. Stony Brook beat New Hampshire 31-6 yesterday. That might change our predictions for (or both) of our last two games this season. Sean Goldrich was out for UNH with a high ankle sprain. They'll be a different team when we face them, assuming he's back.
  10. There are only a couple CAA games this week but they're pretty good ones. Delaware vs. Nova and UNH vs. Stony Brook both should be pretty entertaining.
  11. Rhodes is visiting Missouri State and Duquense in the next couple of weeks.
  12. The scary part about Vad Lee is when you get pressue on him he's just as dangerous running. I think he had 100 yards on the ground against us last year.
  13. I tend to believe if you get a big group of people together, all from different age groups, they aren't going to agree on the music once you get past the national anthem. I admit I'm always surprised at how much conversation there is here about fashion: uniforms, etc. Not complaining, just surprised, especially after seeing the way some board members actually dress
  14. Two weeks ago I was worried about the running game because we didn't have any good backs returning. I'm less concerned now.
  15. If you're looking for hope, Stony Brook took Buffalo to five overtimes two years ago. Stony Brook finished near the bottom of the CAA that year. Any given Saturday...
  16. Good to see volleyball get it's first win this year, knocking off Belmont in 5 sets.
  17. There was a story in today's TU about freshman receiver Isaih Clark.
  18. Yep, it's awesome to see. Night and day difference. I visited the fountain recently and even noticed more 'posters' for Damian and the athletics on some of the boards. We need more school spirit and stuff plastered everywhere. I was on campus this morning, first time this semester (my last)...A very noticeable uptick in people wearing purple Danger Zone tshirts, they must be handing them out. Saw TWO big posters advertising athletics. Something is definitely changing on campus. For all the complaining many of us have done and for good reason, due to the hard work of many folks including alumni association and school leadership there is change in the air for the better. It's very noticeable when you are there physically and maybe not as noticeable if you are just reading online or following this forum. I believe they gave the Danger Zone shirts at the Class of 2019 event the other day. Great to hear about the changes and looking forward to getting back. It's amazing when you bring some alums back to campus who haven't been back in a while. It's hardly the same place in a lot of ways.
  19. Nice find. He's been described as one of the best shooters in NYC.
  20. UB has dismissed reigning MAC player of the year from school for stealing from the school's football players. I think they're #2 scorer followed Hurley to Arizona State last year. http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/13502644/justin-moss-dismissed-buffalo-bulls?ex_cid=espnapi_public
  21. Call me dumb, but what is a 'sub coach" I thought it was the guy they send out to pickup subs at the Halfmoon Deli. I was going to apply for that job.
  22. It's the A10 but Fordham hasn't won in a while. They just fired Tom Pecora who did a nice job when he was at Hofstra but couldn't win at Fordham. I'm not sure who can.
