I'm obviously biased but I didn't see Charles do anything to warrant a T. Poythress threw him to the ground and then gave him a forearm to the back when he got back up. Charles didn't really do anything except look PO'ed.

That's too bad. The banners not dropping at the championship ceremony was a cherished UAlbany tradition. -
I really like the expectations. We can probably guess who some of those guys were:

Holding issues? Right. No offense but I have a oceanside property to sell Gattuso. It's in Montana. Sounds like he's trying to save Toole's pride. Sounds like me saying 'the wind took it' on a bad pass in recess back in the day lol. I don't know about all three, but I did see the bad snap on at least one of them. It wasn't just the FG tries. The snap on one of the PATs was an adventure also. I hope Sussman lives through the rest of the season and into next year. He does not avoid contact at all with the way he runs. Tough kid but I want him to stay on the field.

Kentucky over NJIT by 30 tonight if that makes us feel any better.

BUMA was picked third in the Patriot league and returns all 13 players who got minutes for them last year. That can't happen very often. John Papale is one of the guys coming back. Hasn't he been there like 10 years? Maybe they haven't been out of the AE as long as I thought. Probably somewhat of a letdown for both teams. We're coming off Kentucky and the BU-Northeastern game is probably their version of the Albany-Siena game. -
Just wondering if I missed anything happening to Dallas. He only played a few minutes last night. I don't even remember him being in.

Maybe I stretched that number a little. Ilko didn't realize you went to RCS. I went to Coxsackie-Athens and I think I'm obligated to say RCS stinks. I have no evidence to support that since we can't claim any Gary Jones-like players at C-A. Our claim to fame was setting a record for most consecutive football losses in a row. -
Wasn't that the game that freezing rained or something? I remember it vaguely...think my brain was frozen which is why I can't remember more of it. I believe I had like 5 hot chocolates and the man and woman who sit next to me at games were kind enough to share their blanket. If I do go saturday, I'm comin in like Rambo...gonna be prepared to the tilt. Hahah. The first 1000 students get a fleece Danes blanket. That should help.

Rough start for Sanders with the fouls. We could have used him. Solid minutes from Andrews and Cremo. If you would have told me Stire would be our third leading scorer I wouldn't have believed it.
-
Solid outing from Stire tonight.
-
Game notes are up. Probable starters: Hooley, Singletary, Sanders, Mike Rowley and Stire. Also, the Kentucky Message Board.
-
An entertaining pregame story on Zagsblog. I think Coach Brown is hoping Kentucky is overlooking us for giant killer NJIT.

That's how they're going to pay for the stadium expansion.

A Fox Sports piece on Peter Hooley and The Shot. Also, Pick and Roll Hoops picks their first and second team Aussie players in the NCAA. Peter Hooley, on the first team. Issac Humphreys, Kentucky on the second team.

NJIT had a pretty splashy season last year. They beat Michigan, won 20 games and had a nice run to the semi-finals of the CIT. I'm sure a lot of people remember them. -

It's a nice graphic but our game against Oklahoma was an NCAA 2nd round game, not a 1st round. I know it's nit-picking but I take this stuff seriously. Too seriously a lot of the time.
