It's all rumors but I am hearing from people that Albany is talking to the CAA. What that means I don't know. All rumors of course but I am hearing that there are at least talks going on. I have to think the Sefcu was a part of this. Being a message board if I hear something I try to let people know . Could be nothing , could be something.

No. Doles served a purpose but I hope we can do much better in the portal. Doles was very soft. I mean that will no disrespect. Everything he did was going away from the basket. He was a below average shooter. I wish him the best.

I guess we will see. I'll mark this and see what happens after the season. Davis dominated our league last year. (He is not the same player of course but has a chance to dominate like him) I believe he will average at least 15 a game for a good Bryant team (as a sophomore). He has a chance to be an all league player for 3 years. I would take that all day.

We are talking to John Stansbury. Delaware State Sr. Averaging 10 a game on one of the 5 worse D1 teams. Playing in one of the worse D1 conferences.

Sources: Memphis transfer Earl Timberlake has committed to Bryant. I only post this because the Bryant coach I obviously a recruiter. Something Killings was brought in to do. Hopefully Killings is on the trail hard because Bryant right now will kick us in the teeth. I openly admitted to never seeing our D3 commit , Da'Kquan play. However I have seen Timberlake play several times. He can be a little erratic but will dominate our league if he gets he head on straight even a little.

Amazing information my Dane96 . Awesome. It appears Howard will be added to the CAA. I believe that gives them 15 for football, 14 for everything else. I know they want to get to 16 teams. Add another southern school for football (getting them to 16) / basketball to 15. I wonder if the Sefcu Renovation was moved up to accommodate a potential move? Making it 16 in both Football/ Basketball. Make us look more attractive? Maybe , maybe not. Just a thought.

I don't mind it. Im guessing it can be used as a recruiting tools. Telling recruits that they are playing in a tournament in Florida. Probably will be fun for the team as well.

We do need players that can score. One plus is that he will be very old. Played 4 years and took last year off. That means he is going to be at least 23 during the season. He should have a large advantage over 18 and 19 year olds.

I didn't want to be a downer but I thought Syracuse was bad. Very bad. Glad we got the win against them but I really don't think we are very good. I did not want to say that before the game because I didn't want to be negative. Bottom line is that this team is just not a good team.

I do fell better knowing you have seen him play several times this year. Because you said he can ball . I know you are not taking his 1 minute recruitment video as proof. He was only offered. We will see what happens.

Sorry if I offended you. We do need guys that can put the ball in the hoop. However a D3 guy for 1 year does not seem helpful. But again u can't win them all. And only 5 guys are on the court.

1200+ players in the D1 portal and we offer Da’Kquan Davis (Roman Catholic high school so it makes sense ). I guess I dont understand a "recruiter" making that offer. He is a D3 player.

I could be wrong. But there is no way they are going into specifics. I doubt Killings will as well . What I believe will happen will be a "love fest" between Ualbany and Killings at the press conference. Talking about the positives and not the negatives.

I'm sure there will be a press conference very soon . It will go something like this .... After a thorough investigation into an alleged incident we found no fault in Coach Killings. Coach Killings is a tremendous leader of young men and we are thrilled to have him as our baskeyball coach. Almost word for word . Just watch .

It's just my opinion but I believe that's what a message board is for. Anyone with inside information believes, and has stated it publicly, Killings will be let go. Ex) Wyland. Unfortunately it appears our school has done a very poor job handling the situation.

Crazy. It's whether or not the striking of the kid was intentional or not. That's it.

We have beaten this thing to death but I believe that's what a message board should do. Two things that continue to remain on my mind: 1) I'm not in HR, at least one of you are, but how can a coach be allowed to coach after a complaint of physical contact? Remove the player but not the coach? Is that the norm because that's odd? 2) In this day in age when a player will put his name in the portal for playing 19 minutes and not 20, why is not a single scholarship non senior player in the portal? Seems so odd to me as well. This could change at anytime but I thought it would have happened by now.

Killings will be relieved of his duties after the final four (Rumored). Championship game Monday night so I would expect an announcement Tuesday or the latest Wednesday

Mark my words, and I hope to god I'm wrong but Killings will be fired and that moron Benson will be allowed to keep his job. Wait and see. If that's true I will not donate another dollar over the amount I need to keep my season tickets.

Then let's get this over with now . No need to wait . Fire the AD as well.
