I'd like that!

And he plays defense.

We all got the same letter (posted earlier in the thread), but I'm hearing it's a done deal.

Response from Chancellor: Thank you for sharing your concerns regarding the relationship between the University at Albany and the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering. Both institutions are indeed among SUNY and New York’s most valuable assets. UAlbany educates more than 17,300 students in hundreds of undergraduate and graduate degree programs that are consistently ranked among the best in the nation. The faculty at UAlbany is made up of scholars and researchers that are truly world class, and the university’s economic impacts are massive. Since its inception in 2004, CNSE has become an internationally renowned leader and pioneer in nanotechnology education, research, and economic outreach. By leveraging its resources in partnership with business and government, CNSE supports accelerated high technology education and commercialization, and creates jobs and economic growth for nanotechnology-related industries in New York and around the world. I want to assure you that any change in the operational structure of UAlbany and CNSE would be weighed heavily not only by the university system but by government leaders in order to maintain the institutions’ impeccable service to students, faculty, and staff as well as to the Capital Region and all of New York State. Thank you again for your input and for your interest in and support of UAlbany. Sincerely, Nancy L. Zimpher Chancellor I was speaking with a professor, who thought the split was a good thing. Many feel CSNE is taking away too many resources needed by other depts.

As much as I'd like to pile on, I can't see much of an issue here. Just about every owner changes what they but, which the previous owner thought was perfect! -
Wilson maybe, he played defense. I appreciate the way we are again defending. All O, No D was not UA basketball.

UAlbany vs. Maine (2/9/2013)

Ye of little faith. I hope you've seen the light. I love this team's toughness and resilience. -
I sort of agree with him but on the other hand they were the 1 seed, they were the favorite, they have beat us constantly, they knocked us out three years in a row and they are a SUNY. Huge victory!!!!!!! Fans rush the court when they beat Duke in the regular season. For most of the kids (fans), it will be their last game to do it. It was the final game of the tournament in Albany, beating the no. 1 seed...... I can totally understand it.

This game was still disgusting. Rowley came up huge towards the end, but cracked under the big free throws at the end. Can always find the cloud for every silver lining.

Not having lived in Albany for many years, I've enjoyed watching many UA games via new technology. In recent years, though, I admit to having lost some interest. On Sunday I was in an airport and watched most of the UA-SB game on my laptop. I've become so cynical that the blown 10 point lead was very expected and all too familiar. Had I never moved away, I'm sure I'd have attended hundreds of games, but I'm not sure my own enthusiasm would not have waned some by now.The disappointments, game after game, would have worn me down. I suppose students can find more exciting things to do. Think how sad it would be for you to be a "fan" of the 282 teams that haven't won 20 times this season. They must really be miserable.

They really looked like a totally different team today. After the Yale game, I thought we would be in deep trouble today, but it was a pleasant surprise. -

I believe you are correct. Not State land.
-
I don't believe either the Nano or East Campus is "SUNY Albany" land.

20 win season, most hadn't predicted that.

I'd like to see a larger attendance on Thursday. As they've made it this far, I really want them to run the table in league play this year!
