Casey Stadium Turf

Per the  Facilities Spring 2024 project update presentation today, the turf in Casy Stadium and Dutch Quad rec field will be replaced this summer.

They said they would post it.  They didn't mention anything about the bubble, but there was more info/pics about the PE reno.

At a time that I am at a crossroads with my sports relationship with UAlbany, both in game attendance and financial support, I cannot imagine what could be worthy of keeping under wraps.  

So, forgive me for a healthy dose of skepticism about this potential bombshell announcement, which make this area truly Great Dane Nation.

Without giving too much away are these rumors similar to when Broadview was about to be renovated?  I seem to remember it was just rumors until it was announced.  Casey Stadium was as well.  Atleast this was my perspective being someone who realizes on this site for UA info

can not say since it is a rumor - verified by more than one source..................Just remember I said they were looking at a Big Ten Transfer QB.............before there was an offer or commitment........  Rumor has it that there MAY have been a Massive Donation to Athletics.......... That's All Folks..

Did you mean Yog-Yurt and have it shaped like a cloth hut?

 

Also, excited to see how the turf looks with the new logos etc.  It looked weird playing on turf with the old branding

What if they do a purplle field with gold endzones..

Purple field, hmmm.  That would rank up there with Boise St and Coastal Carolina for boldest fields in the country.
